Who would have even dreamed UO would dominate west coast DL recruiting? 3 years ago, most of these kids go to Bama, tOSU et al.
Anyway, iirc today is Jericho's day and it's us or the Fuskies.
Austin Novosad on Jurrion Dickey's progress: "That kid when he first got here to now is a completely different kid... He's a freak. He's going to be a really good player for us in these next couple years and in this game. We're excited for him."
In myriad ways, this is not where Oregon wanted to be at the conclusion of nonconference play; short-handed, coming off a brutal loss and a textbook trap game before a week off for Christmas break.
The Ducks (7-3) have been plagued by injuries all season, and while multiple players are on the mend and nearing returns none of their four injured players are expected back against Kent State tonight (6 p.m., Pac-12 Network) at Matthew Knight Arena.

Rivals100 receiver Ryan Pellum has flipped his commitment to Oregon at his signing ceremony today. The Ducks had been building some late buzz with the four-star prospect from Long Beach, California and today earn the flip. He had been USC's highest-rated commitment in the 2024 class.
The Ducks had been a finalist for him the first time around and now are able to make a splash on Early Signing Day by swooping him up in the 11th hour. A big, big day for Oregon with the previous flip of Jeremiah McClellan as well.
Sounds like Oregon has stayed in his ear even though Maryland, where he's from ,is said to have taken the lead from CU. It aint over til' it's over and it aint over....
One of the UO FB podcasters, I think Ducks Digest, was suggesting that UO has not given up on trying to flip USC commit Ryan Pelum and tOSU commit Jerimiah McClellan. Lot's of SC talent jumping ship obviously and they were always gonna stay in Jerimiah's ear til' the very end. It's not worth much but something to look out for. Some speculated that when we lost a WR from the class a month back it had something to do with this.
