Could the decision in this case have ramifications across college football including for 2024 Ducks like Jamaree Caldwell & Sione Laulea who played in Junior College? This decision has the potential to not count seasons spent in JC against a players NCAA eligibility.

1) Predictions and 2) who do we prefer to play?
If it's true that beating a really good team twice is tough? I read Tenn is really stout on D and has a solid run attack, but their young overpaid QB is less than consistent. I watched some of the OSU Mich game and OSU didn't look like the same team we played in Oct. It's crazy that Chip didn't take to the air more often. To my eye, they had a great passing day vs UO. I hope they beat the ever living crap out of each other, whoever wins.

Oregonian predictions

Just gonna put it out there. Following up on a question from someone about one of those infamous internet rumors, I did some digging.

Word from Florida folks is that Wilson is still talking with the Gators and there is a very legitimate possibility that he asks to be released from his NLI.

I read that the PSU part time/back up QB entered the portal notwithstanding a possible Natty run. I think he played in every game, but he didn't want to risk missing out on a good spot for next year. Even Franklin supports this move for the guy's sake.
This got me to thinking, what about our top two prospects for next year and why neither has entered the portal, I guess they get another shot at the portal in the Spring, but is it possible the coaches are honestly telling them that they both have a shot for next year. Maybe that's reading too much into it, and you would think even if Moore is the guy for next year Novosad won't have trouble finding a new home with a good team, but a lot of the top schools will have taken their portal QB already. Anyone have any insight on this? It's just hard to imagine one of those guys accepting a backup job next year.

Who'd a thunk, until almost now, Oregon would go an entire calendar year with a football loss.

I almost pity the newer Duck fans who can't remember how awful the program so can't appreciate the new level of success or the steps in that growth. From mostly empty stands in a much smaller Autzen Stadium the few watched disappointing teams with a few solid stars like Fouts and Moore (Amahd Rashad), but poor coaching and no depth of talent in a PAC8.

We are on the cusp of having a fan base, like it or not, who won't accept less than a run for the natty ala Alabama and Georgia. They will never remember the sad times and be too spoiled to accept a taste of them.
That's acceptable to me as long as they don't see a season like the Tide is experiencing as one as bad a 'Bama fans probably do now. A replica next year would heat of the coaches seat while not long ago two season with that kind of performance would have resulted in an e contract extension for the top guy..

I don't watch much NFL FB but this might be a worthy exception. Herbert has a bad ankle but he's gonna play, and there's still talk of Nix being a OROY candidate.
Stat lines look pretty close for the two former Ducks, with Herbert holding a better TD to INT ratio, but Nix scoring more TD's. I am not sure if Herbert missed a game or two?

Nevada OT Isaiah World has committed to Oregon as well.
