2024 four-star DT Aydin Breland talks Oregon, recruitment

Adam Gorney caught up with four-star 2024 DT Aydin Breland at the Rivals Underclassmen Challenge last weekend in Atlanta. Here's the video interview:

Baseball - Future Duck?

This is nothing more than a proud papa post. As many of you know, we are located in the Washington DC area. All three of my kids love going out west to visit family and my oldest son's first football game was when Chip Kelly returned. Obviously one of the schools he's always been interested in is Oregon. He recently wrapped up his Freshman year of high school and is playing on a Canes regional team. Tonight, he joined the 80 mph club (just turned 15 in May) which has been a big goal for him. He has an exit velo of 88 mph and a pop time; he's a catcher as well, of 2.07 - 2.09 which puts him in pretty good company at his age. Obviously I'm very proud of the work he puts in along with the results and hope that one day that work turns into an opportunity with the Ducks.

Weds War Room

Good run down of numerous TE options by Scott. Conner is interesting, if maybe a bit of a project. There are some options.
If you look at our TE coach's resume of GoDucks.com I dont see much TE coaching experience. That will change once some of our guys get drafted and guys see how we use them. Btw, I read, not sure if true, that Riley is transferring to IMG to finish up HS and that even further spells MC I guess. Maybe he goes to IMG and doesn't like the humidity and such.
WE are probably coming to the end of recruits MC and his staff recruited locally which is good.

After today's Riley Williams news the Ducks have gone out and offered Rivals250 Notre Dame commit Cooper Flanagan (Concord (Calif.) De La Salle). He's been committed to the Irish since September and he just took an official visit to South Bend over the weekend, but there were plenty of indications throughout the spring that he is open to looking into his other options. He really looks the part of a big-time tight end and he has a great skill set to go with his size. If Oregon can make a move he would be a really nice addition to the class.
