Does Georgia have a realistic chance to beat Oregon?

I’d argue that they actually do have a chance. They have talent and a veteran head coach. It is also virtually a home game for them.

I know, you think that I’m being negative. I’m not saying that they will beat Oregon. I’m just saying that it isn’t a certainty that they won’t. Respect your opponent. Then beat them into submission… but try not to hurt them.

OT: PROJECT HEALING WATERS FLY FISHING

Monday, I was privileged to join a few other fly fishermen with boats at Pacific City to take disabled veterans fly fishing for a day.

Joel LaFollette who owns Royal Treatment Fly Shop in West Linn partners up every year with Project Healing Waters to make this happen.

Project Healing Waters is:

"Dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings."

Basically, a bunch of vets show up at a dock in Pacific City and a group of volunteers with boats take them out fly fishing for Sea Run Cuts in the Nestucca.

The vets love it and but I think that we rowers get as much or more out of it than they do.

I highly encourage any active military members or vets to check it out. Please pass this along to other vets that you may know.

Thanks

Hoops: Oregon offers 4-star 2023 wing Andrej Stojakovic

Four-star 2023 small forward Andrej Stojakovic has slowly been building to become a national recruit, and a recent performance at an event during the live period helped propel him to that level. The 6-foot-7 recruit from Jesuit HS in the Sacramento, California area is blowing up with new offers from Texas, Florida, Kansas, UConn and Tennessee within the last few days. He is the son of former NBA all star Peja Stojakovic, so the pedigree is there and now Oregon has jumped into the mix with an offer to the fast-rising junior. I watched Stojakovic last summer when he was more of an under-the-radar recruit, and he showed glimpses of being an elite-level player but he has now started to match his potential with production. There is still a long way to go in his recruitment, but getting some added exposure playing for the Compton Magic travel ball team has helped raise his profile overall. He'll be a name to watch as the process moves ahead.
