So, my son is in law school at Michigan and is planning out his time. This year he is doing an internship, but rather than the more typical stuff, his advisors and a mentor talked to him about working with an international law firm. He arranged for three interviews and got the internship in wanted in Guangzgou, China!

He is very stoked about this. His career development department thought it a fantastic opportunity for him so he will be spending a summer in China before returning to Michigan for school next fall.

My wife and I are very excited for him!

4* ATH and USC commit Juliano Falaniko, currently committed to USC.. picked up an offer from Oregon yesterday. He is being recruited as an OLB, and says this is one offer he has been wanting for a long time. Per 247.

I read this on 247. Jullianao Faliniko will be visiting UO this weekend. USC projects him as a safety, but Oregon wants him to play linebacker. From the article that I read, he is VERY interested in going to Oregon. 247 thinks that he will Quack.

I just met Matt Lubick at CVS in Waco. First off, great guy who was very nice and happy to talk to a duck fan. Chatted about a bunch of things. But of interest was his comments on our QB situation. Had nothing but good things to say about Herbert of course and thought it likely that he would start. But without any provocation, he said Wilson was also very good and might fit what taggart wants to do better than Herbert. He confirmed what many here have said, namely that Herbert is a decent runner but not great. He thought there would be a legitimate competition between those two. Any way, thought an insiders perspective was interesting...obviously he is not the insider he was, but his opinion is a bit more informed than most here.

So I have 2 thoughts here:

1. He is bitter about the regime change and just wants to throw fule on the fire that "the change was wrong."

2. He is playing to the fans and team his son is going to sign with and wants to show he's in their boat.

Either way this is bad form and if you're not keeping up on just what's going on please don't try to speak to it.

Sad to see an ex Oregon player turn his back on his alma matter, or appear that way.

Just my 2 cents and worth the price of the paper it's printed on.

He just visited ASU over the weekend and said it blew him away.. the coaching staff and potential playing time is what set that visit apart.

He also just got offered by Ole Miss the other day, and is now visiting them this weekend and will decide on NSD where he is going.

ASU visited him today, and Ole Miss comes out thursday to see him.

Oregons coaches visit him Wednesday.

Four-star East St. Louis WR Jeff Thomas is in talks with Oregon to make the visit to Eugene this weekend. They are part of his final three with Louisville and Miami. He has only taken the official visit to Miami thus far. I will let you know when/if I hear that visit has been officially set.

A number of 2018 offers out, a 2019 plus one to a 2017 UCLA commit the last two days.
