bracket projections

Interesting that Joe Lunardi's latest bracket projection have dropped UCLA to #3 and placed them in the South Region and Arizona is also #3 and moved to the Midwest Region. He continues to rate Oregon a #2 in the West Region. I hope that whether Oregon wins the PAC-12 tournament or just gets to the finals they remain in the West Region whether it be the #1 or #2 seed. The West Region appears to be the weakest Region and gives Oregon the best chance to make the final 4.

Ducks make Top 7 for Rivals100 QB Justin Rogers

I spoke with Rivals100 Bossier City (La.) Parkway QB Justin Rogers tonight to coincide with the release of his Top 7 schools. TCU, Tennessee, LSU, North Carolina, Harvard, Oregon and Louisville are the schools that made the list, in no particular order

Here's what he had to say about the Tigers:

Oregon: - “Everyone from Louisiana grows up thinking Oregon is a dream school. Growing up watching Deanthony Thomas and those guys and the uniforms and everything it's just something that stands out. Coach Arroyo is the offensive coordinator there and he was recruiting Keondre when he was at Oklahoma state and he’s a real cool dude. Me and him have been talking every day or every other day. We’re going to make the trip to see how it is. My dad has been talking with Coach Arroyo a lot just trying to set everything up and it might be April 19, kind of in the middle of April. Distance isn’t a factor so it’s kind of like my mom’s dream school, too. She loves them so we're all looking forward to seeing it in person."

You can read the complete article and watch his junior film here.

Big shout out to Ennis and Boucher also.....

All the attention is going to Brooks and he deserves major kudos for the big shot and a solid 2nd half when he was on the floor (foul trouble) but w/o big Chris (18 points, all in the 2nd half) and some huge drives and a three by Ennis in the 2nd half the stage would not have been set for the ending we saw!

This is one of the teams strengths.....usually we have 2-3, maybe 4 guys clicking while others may be off and that is exactly what happened in that epic 52 point 2nd half comeback!

NOW...DO NOT LOOK PAST the Cardinal....GO DUCKS!

Greatwood sighting

Passed Greatwood on Telegraph Ave. after watching our Ducks shock CAL... seemed to be hosting a big ugly (recruit). Threw the car in reverse so I could roll down the window and shout "Hey Coach Greatwood… Go Ducks Baby!" He leaned over and replied with a gregarious smile… "Go Bears!" Love the Cristobol upgrade but Greatwood reminds me of the Uncle that's cool for being an old dude.
