More Ducks Break Sub 4 Mile Barrier Today

With results in from the Husky Last Chance meet today, two more Oregon Ducks have broken the 4 minute barrier. Charlie Hunter, a surprising sophomore from Australia, blew down the 4 minute mile doors with a 3:57.75 effort. This time ranks him number 5 indoor collegiate miler in the country so far this year. James West, a Senior from England, was close behind with his 3:57.75 (#6 amongst US collegians). Also breaking into the sub 4 mile club was Jackson Mestler, a Sheldon High product, (primarily a steeplechaser) who registered a 3:59.77. After today's results, Oregon has a full six milers under 4 minutes already this Winter.
