Lots of chatter from Notre Dame and Oklahoma insiders about which school he will choose. I think Oklahoma may have overplayed their card a little bit by forcing the choice between an in-home with the Sooners and a visit elsewhere. If that was interpreted by some as a 'manipulative play' to force his hand, it could backfire on them. I don't know that it helps Oregon much because there is a strong feeling by Notre Dame folks that if he spurns Oklahoma, he will stick with his commitment.
The Oregon staff have done everything they could to get him to flip his commitment. I still think it is a very unlikely thing, but there are some on the inside at Oregon that feel the window is cracked open and that there was a chance as late as last night.
Today is going to be like recruiting signing days a decade ago where there is more intrigue than expected.
