Serra’s Brazil Neal and Rodrick Pleasant committed to Oregon a day apart. Serra is a long time feeder school for USC. Both sprint stars were recruited by USC, but in the end the teammates selected Oregon.
It almost brings a tear to my eye when I read that tiered and sore the two sprint stars helped each other to the podium as California’s top boy and girl 200m sprinters. They stood arm and arm on the podium.
