Canton Kaumatule is off the official roster page at goducks.com... In my experience, this usually means the worst, but of course it could also be a software glitch and without any other announcement, I wouldn't conjecture. But the fact is, as of today, he isn't on the roster. Players with season ending injuries (Devon Allen) or suspensions (Prevot) are still on the roster.

Also gone is Khalil Afariogun, a recent walk-on.

Pou Peleti-Gore a new walk-on DB has been added to the roster.

So I was at the game tonight and sat directly behind the oregon bench. We were in the front row so we were as close as can be, and I have to say that our boys body language was NOT good. Aside from schooler and dye(suprise, suprise) and occasionally Tyree Robinson there was very little passion at all on the sideline. Our boys looked unplugged.

If we move on from MH:

I think that we should look at Gary Patterson who is currently coaching at TCU.

1. Top notch coach that has been in the conversation for Natties for the last few years. He has proven he can handle the big games.

2. Would not have to settle for an unproven assistant.

3. The guy has an explosive offense that would please the Duck fans and would fit in with a lot of the Oregon concepts (spread, speed, etc.) that have become a brand for us.

4. He has done it at a school that does not have all of the support that we have.

5. He can recruit Texas. That's no small deal.

His D is not that great all of the time but he can score points.

I see this as kind of an Altman hire....except that Patterson is probably a bigger fish than Altman was.

We could surely get him for less than $10 mil.

To curb name calling in threads, I'd like to propose the following change.

Anytime a poster resorts to name calling, that poster's handle must be changed to the insult that he/she used for a pre-determined period of time, for instance one week.

For example, if I referred to another poster as, say, "Mr. Buttcheese", my handle would automatically be changed from HoorayDucks to "Mr. Buttcheese" for one week.

(I'm sorry UD. I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I saw that you used that one in the "Body Language" thread. It took me back to the last time I heard that term: Mrs. Griffith's 5th grade classroom.)
