Last Chance Indoor Track Meets

College track & field 101…. Each team may only enter those athletes who have the necessary qualifying marks to compete at nationals. You must be in the top 16 in the nation in order to qualify. This weekend beginning today( Friday) are what’s known as “last chance” meets. The Oregon men MUST get more qualifiers if they are to have any chance of a respectable team score. The women are in a stronger position, but they need to keep their qualifiers while adding more. It all comes down to today how many Ducks will be flying to the Indoor Natty.

Sure would be nice if CFB had an overarching organization that controlled all of this. We could call it something like, I don't know, maybe we could call it the NCAA.
