This just in. The trophy is significant because it is the result of votes cast by OL in the Pac 12. It is an incredible honor when your opponents vote for you as the best. And Defo so deserves it. Congrats big guy. It has been fun watching you wreak havoc.

Wouldn't it be ironic/funny/interesting if Prukop chose Alabama, but then Blake Barnett decided to transfer? To Oregon?

This is a quote from his tweet:

Looking at the DSA depth chart, it appears we have returning for the 2016 season, the following veterans on the D line: Daniel, 270 (an incoming senior), Kaumatule, 295 ( incoming soph.) and Mondeaux 280,(incoming senior), all DEs, and Maloata, 300 (incoming soph.), the sole NT.

Our 2016 commitment list includes only Kampmoyer, 235, and Young, 220, at DE as additions, so far with perhaps 4 more picks to go.

Can anyone add to this list from our existing roster that isn't included on the depth chart? If there are none, it appears we are dangerously thin on what was the best segment of our D this year. And our 2016 reload has no realistic D line players coming in ready play or sub. And a bare cupboard for 2017.

I'd like some reassurance from more knowledgable heads that our D line situation isn't as dire as I see it, at least at this time.( Just edited to include Jelks, incoming soph. at 268 at DE and Baker, incoming soph., 295 as poss. NT). Will these be enough?

Some smoke out there. Folks might not want to get too excited though, even if there's fire there, tOSU would be the second school from which he's decommitted. No guarantee that he'll stay the course.

I thought you might find this as interesting as others have. If he can relax and let the other weapons around him take the pressure off....at Oregon he would have that.
