I bet dollars to doughnuts that both Pagano and Young both see significant playing time. The D-Line needs the depth especially at high altitude where the players may get fatigued. The coaches should substitute early and liberally at all positions on both offense and defensive to keep the starters fresh. This game may come down to the 4th quarter and it is essential we have our starters fresh to be able to play well and strong in the 4th Quarter. Overall, Oregon has a deeper and more talented team than Wyoming and we need to use this to our advantage by maximizing this depth. Wyoming will have one important advantage and that is that their players are very well acclimated to the high altitude. It takes weeks for the body to become properly acclimated to the high altitude. That's why Mountain climbers often spend long periods of time at their base camp and progress slowly up the mountain in carefully planned stages. As much as WT downplays the elevation factor, one mid week practice at high altitude is not going to be enough to negate Wyoming's advantage in this area. Using our superior depth wisely is our best way to counter act any possible negative effect that the high altitude may have on our team. I don't know if it against the rules but having Oxygen canisters available on the bench might also be helpful.
