The No. 1 recruit for 2026 was one of the biggest names on campus in Eugene on Saturday, and he left Oregon for Dallas overnight to participate in the Rivals Camp in Dallas earlier today. That's where national recruiting analyst Marshall Levenson caught up with the five-star prospect to recap his latest trip to see the Ducks and get his takeaways from the experience.

Predicting Oregon's offensive two-deep following spring practice👀

Noah Whittington makes it somewhat difficult to assess this hierarchy. Dan Lanning was clear all spring that they'd be cautious with him. Whittington was at all 10 practices open to media, but sitting him for the spring game makes sense given the recency of the injury. Whittington's absence opened the door for Jay Harris, and boy, did he make the most of that. There's no doubt the former Division 2 athlete belongs at this level. He runs with a combination of power and balance that should keep him on the field, and the kid has one filthy stiff arm too.

Peyton Woodyard & Oregon

Woodward entered the transfer portal with a do not contact tag. He can contact anyone and they can call back but teams cannot initiate the contact.

Generally speaking this typically means that someone us already pretty sure of their destination.

There is a report that Oregon is the team to beat bit NO ONE at Oregon is going to confirm this so I can only say I am aware and that it is very possible he transfers to Oregon. He has a very strong relationship with Rashad Wadood abd the Ducks were higher than some folks thought at signing period.

If he were to transfer to another SEC school, conference rules dictate he sit out a year so that seems unlikely.

Rodrick Pleasant

He did not play in the spring game. He was running track in Arizona.

There have always been football players who participate in track, and then two sport athletes, who emphasize both sports. That is hard to do.

DAT is an example of a football player who participated in track. Devon Allen is an example of a two sport athlete. LaMichael James is an example of a two sport athlete who prioritized football. Micah Williams is an example of a track athlete who participated in football ( no game time). Micah was an Olympian, but is absent from Oregon track right now because of an injury he suffered in football.

Rodrick looks to be a two sport athlete more in the Devon Allen mode. My hope is that he decides to focus on track. Rodrick might have Olympic potential. Had Devon not suffered an injury in the Rose Bowl, he might have been an Olympic medalist.

Let’s see what Rodrick ends up doing. I just hope that the transfer portal doesn’t become part of his picture. Oregon has produced great sprinters, but that is in spite of the climate. Sprinters prefer warm climates. However, there is no college track facility like Hayward Field.
