I reached out to Jay to get his current thoughts on the Ducks. We did not end up doing an interview but here is what he said about doing one.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to wait. I have a big AP exam and I am also trying to narrow down my commitment time frame."

So it will be interesting to see what his new time frame is when he comes up with it.

Some have Hampton in Anthony's league. One of those 2 guys would be a such a great fit where they could hone their skills along with Pritchard and Richardson sharing ball handling duties, then taking the PG helm yr 2. They rarely see it that way, want to be OAD, so that leaves UVA, KS and others w/ strong records of PG development and recently bared cupboards (early NBA entries) very hard to beat. Idk the deadline for declaring, but I guess it's still possible Pritchard departs. In that case, I'd think we would be strong contenders for one of these 2. Even though I think he is in the league of UVA's Jerome and especially Guy, my guess is he'll come back. Deadline, anyone? Must be soon.
