Off topic exercise question.

I know some of you guys are smart about this stuff.

For a long while I included push ups and dips in my workout routine at the gym. I liked them for the way they use a lot of muscle groups and get your heart pumping.

Trouble was, I started having problems in my shoulder. Impingement, the doctor said.

I laid off those two exercises for a while and my shoulder, due to some stretching and exercises they gave me to do, is completely healed.

I'd like to reinsert the pushups and dips into my workouts. My question is, is there perhaps something I was doing or not doing that led to the issue? It got to where it hurt like crazy. Rounding the shoulders? Over training one group while neglecting another?

Any positive advice on this topic would be appreciated.

Rivals Rountable BB Article

Sounds like 5*'s Makur Maker and Zaire Williams are high on Altman's list of 2020 targets, with some predicting we have a shot at Maker. Put on some more muscle and he's going to be a beast. Like Bol Bol with some beef and durability.
Some other great talent from Cally. Sounds like class of 19 PF Jaden Williams is 50/50 UW and Kentucky.

Maker's summer league film.

Chi Okoro

this was a recruit that was just under the media recruiting hype. We narrowly lost out on three women 100m sprinters. Not much was said or mentioned about Chi until she appeared on the list on the Oregon Track media release announcing the class of 2019. She is currently tied for being the second ranked 100m California high school girl’s sprinter, tied for #6 ranked in the US in the recruiting class of 2019, and tied for # 9 among all high school girls. She is from the Bay Area. By the way she is tied with Jazzmine Frost of Serra in Southern Ca, who picked USC over Oregon in a tight battle.

OT: OSU BB DRAFT PICK

OK, Ok, I "hate" the beavers as much as anybody.

But here is a CBS Sports article that makes the case for a beaver catcher to be the #1 draft pick this year.

The thing is, his name is Adley Rutschman and he is the grandson of the great Ad Rutschman who is a legendary coach and sports administrator in Oregon.

So, no matter what school he played for, I wish the young man well and I think that it would be very cool for an Oregon kid to go first in the MLB draft.
