Road to 10 wins: problem number two

Justin Herbert can be quiet, but he can't play quiet: the Ducks 4th-year senior starting quarterback has to display the body language, demeanor and performance that takes command. It's time for him to emerge as a leader and take charge of the Oregon offense in a new way, with no midseason slump.

Avantae Williams stock report...

With the elite camp season in the rearview mirror, it looks like Avantae Williams will be taking a ratings hit at the next update.

Based on the Five-Star Challenge which gave us an excellent look at the best vs. the best, I have to agree. He did not have a great day.

I was standing a few feet away from him during many of his one-on-one reps and he had a mentor guy there who kept giving him advice based on the previous rep. I think it kind of got in his head. For example at one point he plays bump and run on a guy who double moves him and beats him deep. He went over to his mentor and said "I'm just going to play off everybody" and sure enough, he got beat underneath on the next rep.

Then he would win a rep or two. Then get beat a rep or two.

Keep in mind, these were excellent WR's and QB's he was going against, but still. It just wasn't his day.

MBB Battle for Atlantis

Seriously loaded tourney this coming season, with Seton Hall opener, and probably the Zags if they can beat SH. UNC, UM....some good teams. Not sure if the format would allow more than 2 games, but you can probably guess the match up I want to see,.

Edit, found the pairings. Looks like 2x elimination. From Goducks.com
