What's up Oregon fans!! After a phone call with Coach Donte Williams, the Ducks offered Denzel Burke, a two-way player at Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, AZ. Burke played his Fresh. and Soph. seasons at Brophy College Prep before transferring to Saguaro this Fall. Burke sat out the first 5 games of this season due to the transfer rules. One of his teammates at Saguaro is current Duck commit Jaylan Jeffers. He's a big-time prospect and has received offers from ASU, Auburn, Nebraska, Arizona, and LSU.

Hiltz advances to finals Hull just misses

Nikki Hiltz who ran a couple of seasons as a Duck before transferring to Arkansas will be in the women’s 1500 finals.

Jessica Hull looked good. She did get a slight bump and then dropped back a couple of positions. Jessica was in the race, but just missed on the final few meters.

As I have mentioned before, Nikki is practically from my same neighborhood... maybe a couple of miles from my home.

Devon Allen

He made it to the finals, but didn’t have a great final. Perspective... he is one of the top six 110 hurdlers in the world. I will have to see his final again, but I have heard that Devon might have been interfered with when Omar McCloud stumbled.

Devon had an Achilles problem back last spring. He should be congratulated for having done this well considering the set back of his injury.

Now, if he can stay healthy, he has a great shot at making the US team again for the Olympics. It is competitive, but Devon definitely could be in medal contention in Tokyo next summer. I know that he will be a crowd favorite at the Olympic Trials in Eugene!
