Pritchard 2d Team by (East Coast, lol) Writers

The smaller schools from lower tier conferences getting lots of love. Nobody on the east coast awake to see Pritchard put multiple games on his back. He could have shot much more than he did early season, but he was trying to make yet another team better. Hopefully the coaches vote him 1st to be consensus 1st team. I'm still hoping for the Cousy, POY appearing out of reach now.

Outside the Box: Oly Light, Late Summer US Track Meet in Eugene?

It's way too early to make these kinds of calls, and Eugene does not want unneeded travelers in town. But, maybe it could be done with sufficient testing and limiting unnecessary spectators? I'd like UO to remain a safe haven from this pandemic, but is it worth exploring? I think so, as long as every decision errs on the side of community safety.

Spring game cancelled

Because of the evolving safety precautions surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus) that include limits regarding crowd sizes as directed by the state of Oregon and the University of Oregon, Oregon’s football spring game scheduled for Saturday, April 18, has been canceled.

Oregon Athletics will continue to work alongside university officials and public health agencies to determine future plans related to the coronavirus.

The annual partnership between Oregon Athletics and FOOD for Lane County will continue despite the game being canceled, with the two combining on a Virtual Food Drive that will accept donations to provide food for needy citizens in Lane County, beginning immediately.

“We are obviously disappointed to have to cancel our annual Spring game, but we certainly understand that this is necessary given the current circumstances,” said Oregon athletic director Rob Mullens. “One of the best dynamics of our spring game has been the ability to contribute to the well-being of the community through this event for FOOD for Lane County. Fortunately, there still is an opportunity for fans to support this endeavor, and we encourage our passionate fans to visit the Virtual Food Drive and contribute to the incredible work being done in our community by FOOD for Lane County.”

If you wish to make a donation and support FOOD for Lane County via the Virtual Food Drive, please visit the following link: https://fundraise.foodforlanecounty.org/UOSpring.

“Food For Lane County is grateful for its partnership with UO Athletics, and the annual food drive associated with the spring football game has averaged 50,000 pounds of food,” said Stephani Roybal, community and donor engagement coordinator for FOOD For Lane County. “This drive has helped stock the shelves of pantries in Lane County throughout the summer when giving is usually low, and we are thankful for all of those who will be supporting the Virtual Food Drive.”

3 2022 Oregon HS 4 Stars This Time Around

It's early, and idk if others have rated 2022 guys yet.Slightly better than average year at the top. Clemmons seems like the real deal with great size and a red zone threat. Wondering why MSU is considered an early leader?

Also wonder if they got 2d and 3d in the wrong order, at least from standpoint of who UO is recruiting/offering.

Returning Web Member

Many of you probably remember me about a year ago. Most of the time during this last year I have spent about a year in both Kadlec Hospital and Sacred Hospital in Spokane Washington. I collapsed at home in full respiratory arrest. I was resuscitated and place on a ventilator for 3 days, As I had no last wishes in place. they had no choice to apply CPR/ACLS and I was placed on a ventilator for for 3 days. While in the Hospital at Kadlec, in the ICU, I was also treated for a life threatening pneumonia. I eventually recovered from the Pneumonia I was placed in a room with a nurse attending me 24/7.

While in the ICU I was also diagnosed with s severe Heart, Heart Valve, Heart Pacemaker,Artificial,Aortic valve infection Stomach, Bladder, intestinal , Kidney infection and a Blood Infection. They had to operate on me in open Heart Surgery to clean out the infection in my heart. As Sacred Hospital has the best Cardiac Surgeon in the country, I told them, I wanted to transfer. I rode in an ambulance from the ICU from Kadlec on a a respirator to Sacred Hospital by ambulance for the 2/12 trip to Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane,

After stabilizing me for 1 day, I was taken to Surgery for the very high risk operation. They gave me 25% chance of living. I was placed on a Heart Lung Machine and in the operation for over 6 hours by 4 of the best Cardiac Surgeons in the country. I had to fill out my final wishes for my family and designated as executioner of my estate( my youngest daughter) and given the last rights just prior to going into surgery.

After 3 full days placed on ice, remaining on the Heart Machine for 7 days. I eventually awoke in the ICU total paralyzed. blind, unable or move my bowels, or urinate.Over a period of over 1 month, I slowly recovered all of my functions. They were adamant that I remain in the Hospital for another 6 weeks, as they had “Pick Lines “directly into my heart to infuse a combination of antibiotics. I told them ( I am a Physician, Board Certified in 5 Specialty’s) that I would go AMA (Against Medical Advice) and return home immediately.

Almost every Physician, including the CEO and the Head Nurse urged me to stay, as they told me it was a near certainty that I would die if I was not give the full 6 week course. I had no glasses and was unable to see and the first Providence Perfusion nurse tested me and I failed. I then again threatened to go AMA. They finally sent another Perfusion Nurse, that had a pair of proper glasses, and I did the 24 four Antibiotics perfusion very easily, so they finally released me from the Hospital.I will be on the Antibiotics for another 4 weeks(myself doing the Perfusions).
I also have a growing Proximal Aortic Aneurysm, and am given approximately another 2 years to live.

I daily read your Web is the for many years and been an Oregon Duck Football,Basketball and Track fan for over 50 years, as my father(97 years old) has been.(He played Football for the Oregon Ducks Football team in the early 1940’s.We have had season Tickets to almost every Oregon athletic Program as my eldest Daughter(owner of the Parr Lumbar company ( a billion dollar estate) and have attended virtually every Athletic contest(All the Bowl games, Basketball Games and Track Meets over 50 years. I am sure you are aware that a year ago, I also posted about the various Oregon Athletic Programs. However I was severely attacked, personally. Was badly hurt by this. I guess I was too senile, or did not write agreeable posts so I stopped posting. I apologize to all the Web site members and Moderators for this. As I think many of your posts are both excellent and informative, I have continued to read it every day without fail. I will promise not to contribute any more posts unless you are agreeable.

Better or worse: Quarterback

Justin Herbert was a phenomenal talent, hampered by a creaky offensive system and a college career full of coaching turnover.

Playing quarterback is about way more than amassing gaudy passing stats. An effective offense is one that finishes drives, converts first downs and avoids negative plays.

The Oregon quarterbacks will be getting way better coaching and a more cohesive offensive framework this season under Joe Moorhead. I expect productivity to improve.
