Rivals100 WR Dont'e Thornton talks top 12 & future plans

“We didn't make it out there. I was supposed to visit there on April 16th. I was at Friday Night Lights camp at Oregon last year.

“It was crazy being out there. It was my first time and there and they were my dream school when I was younger. It was crazy actually being there because I had dreamed about playing there.

“I talk with mostly every coach. I talk with every coach on the staff. They are saying a big receiver like myself can go in and dominate because they don't usually get receivers that are my size. I'll always be a matchup problem. They say I'd be an immediate impact on the team.”

Cristobal presser notes...

Coach just finished a conference call with media. Not much he could say about the four spring workouts or the grad transfer QB.

- QB position battle “When you assess a position like the quarterback we'd like we think Tyler Shough did an outstanding job in the spring. He entered the spring as a starter. He leaves the spring as a starter. We can't comment on any players that are not currently enrolled or whatnot. But like every single position on the field, we're always going to present competition because it helps our players get better. But I can't emphasize enough how fired up we're about Tyler.”

- Said the OL is following the blueprint left by the departed players “to a T”.

- The staff is meeting daily via Zoom. Joked about the backgrounds some of the guys are using.

- Team is attending virtual classes but no organized football activities. The athletes are staying safe. Any workouts are voluntary during this time.

- Can’t talk about Anthony Brown yet

- Said that all the players are in good health

- Justin Flowe is enrolled. Joked about the team zoom meeting where he introduced himself. Coach popped up a photo of Justin with his "abs sticking out" so that must have been funny. I think I know the photo.

- Everybody on the staff and team is adjusting to the “new normal”

- Would not get into speculation about what is happening in the future for spring or fall camps

Oregon HS Stud RB/APB Damir Collins Cutting List to 3

Sounds like the Ducks aren't seeking a waiver. I'd like to see him at OSU, but Cal or ASU would probably be a solid as well for our home grown PSA.. The article lists him as a top teir APB, and idk which service places him that high. I do recall an outstanding camp last summer where he held his own vs Benson et al.

Good luck to Damir. Wish he would quack,if he could quack but he cant quack. Oh well, correct me if I'm wrong, but there isn't that much room at RB (correct?) and if they go w/o an APB in 21 maybe it looks more appealing to Sawchuck.or some other big time burner play maker. Wondering what Damir's 100 m and 40 times are? Anyone?
