So, ASU Pres chooses his own reality

Despite photogapic evidence to the contrary, he claims Herm had nothing at all to do with the blatant recruiting violations.

Poor lil guy thinks we're all blind and stupid.

2023 4-star DT My'Keil Gardner visiting in March

Four-star defensive lineman My'Keil Gardner is set to visit Oregon beginning March 11 as he starts to turn his attention toward taking more visits. He has had quite the run in the last month when it comes to new offers with 10 of his offers coming in since mid-January. Oregon was among that group, and he has quickly built a solid relationship with the staff. Like many other recruits out west, he says Oregon is one of his dreams schools and he was really surprised when he eventually earned an offer from the Ducks. He was proactive in getting his film to the new coaches through Jordan Somerville and it paid off. He is still getting to know Tony Tuioti a bit, but building his relationship with the coaches is a big part of why he wants to visit.

He really like Oregon and I suspect the Ducks are going to remain in strong position as he moves forward. He plays at Liberty High School in Peoria, Arizona and put up some big stats as a junior. He finished the year with 86 tackles, 24 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.

“I really like their coaching staff especially with Dan Lanning at the head. That’s really great. Oregon is one of my dream schools, so it really is like a big accomplishment for me. I just can’t wait to go on my visit and learn more.”

My full update with him is available at the link up at the top of this post.

I was very impressed watching Rashada last weekend in Las Vegas -- elite downfield accuracy, good field vision, strong arm. Myself and my assistant Jeff put together 9 mins of highlights.

2024 edge rusher Sterling Dixon has high praise for the Ducks

Mobile, Alabama native Sterling Dixon is just a sophomore, but the 2024 edge rusher is already beginning to see his recruitment take off. And, that's after missing a big portion of the 2021 season with an injury. Oregon is the newest school to enter the mix after offering him last week, and he's already planning out a visit out to Eugene in the summer when he hopes to make a West Coast swing. DC Tosh Lupoi is the one who offered him, and Dixon was being recruited by Dan Lanning at Georgia previously. So, there is a built-in connection there.

He holds both coaches in high regard, and he is definitely very intrigued by the opportunity to play for both coaches at Oregon.

“You have two of the best defensive coaches in college football on the same staff. You got Dan Lanning and you got coach Tosh Lupoi. They’re specialists at my position. I would just like to learn as much as I can from them and just continue to become a better player.”

He's going to take a bunch of visits in the spring, and he only continues to add more offers. So, it will be an interesting battle. Getting him away from the Southeast could prove to be a tall task, but there is clear interest in Oregon at this early stage.

2023 OL Alani Noa set to visit Oregon

Oregon is one of the schools that recently offered three-star offensive lineman Alani Noa. Now, he will visit the Ducks next month to see the program and team in person. He'll be on campus the second weekend in March to watch the beginning of spring practice. USC will have him on campus the week before that. Both programs offered him last month along with Washington. He's a little bit green with the recruiting process overall, so he's still trying to get everything figured out, but he does know that that Ducks has had a lot of success with offensive linemen and that has him very much intrigued. He's big on building relationships, and so far he has forged a nice bond with Adrian Klemm that he's hoping to build on when he gets on campus for the visit.

“Coach Klemm, it’s been pretty good building a relationship with him, actually. We talk like every week. I call him after practice, and we just talk about life as far as how we’re doing, what we’re doing. He just checks up on me.”
