On the day that summer officially turned to fall, the Oregon defense started heating up and played their best football in at least 4 seasons. While this is not what anyone would have called a perfect game or even a complete game, the sheer and utter dominance in every phase of the game for Oregon yesterday was a thing of beauty at times and yet there were still some flaws that give teachable moments for Dan Lanning and the Oregon football team.
Offensively it was not quite as clean as it could have been an unforced error led to Bo Nix’s first interception of the year and there were some early cracks in pass protection that led to some early pressures and a sack.
