Stanford guessing game results

guess the mourning period is aver for me now so I can raise the Duck flag back to full mast, throw away the crying towel and get back to business. As expected when the other team won, Scott took the prize (against his desire) and came remarkably close to the final score. Among the rest of us losers Adam and Corky did very well while Funduck threw himself of the cliff.

Scott 13
Adam -5
Corky -7
Rockin -8
Salem -10
Tar -10
Gray -10
64OR -10
Thester -11
Twell -13
Fish -13
Papa -13
ME -14
TEnDuck -15
Quinn -16
Shark -21
Wing -24
100% -27
Funduck -56

Thanks for playing, guys :)

AP Mid Season All Am's

JPJ 1st and Franklin 2d. About time Franklin got some love. His play vs WA helped, no doubt.

Anybody had a chance to peek at the hardwood?

When I was a student (sort of, anyway) at about this time we were ready to make the transition from football to basketball to take our minds off of another 3-8 season, in a good year. Not so much much like that anymore ... but has anyone been close enough to hear any hoops talk, yet? I have a feeling we might do better than predicted in the media day vote. For a change Altman has more healthy bodies on the floor than he has had for the past few seasons and might have a starting five on opening night that won't be waiting for a key piece or several of them to become ambulatory, And some of it is pretty good talent to set the picture. My biggest hope is that there is a Prichart type to drive the energy to practice harder than over the past couple of years. I got the idea they didn't WANT it enough.

East Coast Perspective - Oregon vs Washington

At least from people in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia).

I've heard A LOT of, "That was one of the best games of the year. That has been followed by, "Looks like teams out there (West) have joined the party in playing very physical football.

Both of those comments have been almost immediately followed by, "Your coach cost you the game" and "Points are premium especially in a game like that, you have to take them"

Although I have my personal opinions about the game and management, I'm not here to share those but thought the group might be interested in the perspective of the game and Oregon football from the other coast.
