They didn’t really want us

On June 30, 2022 USC and UCLA announced they would be leaving the P12 conference for the Big 10. Oregon, Washington and others worked to find replacements worthy enough to provide a reasonable TV deal. When it became evident that this would not happen some very large decisions had to be made.

0n August 4, 2023, over a year later it was announced that Oregon and Washington to follow SC and UCLA to the Big 10.....almost as an afterthought.

They didn't really want Oregon and there are a ton of old Big 10 fans who are supremely pissed off at the newcomer stepping in and owning their 'tradition' from Day 1.

We are Oregon Football and you better get used to us at the top.

Playoff Schedule is Out

Apologies if this was already posted, but until I saw this I didn't see the actual dates, locations and times. I wish they would have seeded the potential rematch vs tOSU in the finals.

MBB UCLA at UO Sunday 3PM BTN

Reminder, UCLA is 7/1 but they haven't really played good teams. They suffered a loss to UNM at home. Not very impressive. Let's see if Dana can keep the train rollin'.

Oregon outlasts Penn State to win Big Ten Championship Game

It took a big defensive play by Nikko Reed and a big performance by Tez Johnson, but Oregon maintains their undefeated season and moves to the playoffs as the No. 1 overall seed. here is our game recap:

PeeU game score guessing contest

Brandon clawed his way back to the top with the only correct prediction of either team's score or the spread. He got the spread. He now leads Rockin by two whole points. There are still a lot of possible new leaders as we head into post season play, probably or more correctly hopefully, two more chances after this one. Still be nice to see some more faces as the season winds down.

As always, don't be afraid to call my attention to any errors. I've made a few in my life.

I'm going to be overly optimistic and start things off with 42-20

Scott Frost is expected to return as UCF's coach, 247Sports reports. Frost, who spent 2024 as a senior football analyst with the Los Angeles Rams, led the Knights from 2016-17. He amassed a 19-7 record in his two years with the program.
Frost is set to replace Gus Malzahn, who left to become Florida State's offensive coordinator earlier in December. In its final season under Malzahn, UCF posted a 4-8 record, with a 2-7 showing in Big 12 play.
Frost began his first stint at UCF in 2016 after three seasons as the offensive coordinator at Oregon. Following a 6-7 record in his inaugural year with the Knights, Frost led UCF to its first perfect season in program history, capped by a win against Auburn in the Peach Bowl. The Knights also finished the year as a consensus top-10 team.

Frost left UCF for Nebraska, where he played quarterback from 1995-97. He didn't produce a winning season in five years with the Huskers and was fired three games into the 2022 campaign. Frost did not coach anywhere in 2023 following his ouster from Nebraska.

Gameday Primer

Good morning #GoDucks fans. It is Championship Saturday with Oregon playing later today.

This is the article I was working on when I came across the TV Guide last night. Kind of a fun look back to the last time Oregon played Penn State and all the changes since that time
