Oregon a top team for four-star DB

Omaha, Neb., cornerback Avante Dickerson was offered by Oregon back in February. He originally had a Top 3 of LSU, Nebraska and Ohio State, but that list has evolved and Dickerson now counts Oregon among his favorites. He also did a virtual recruiting tour of Oregon's campus, and told me:

“It was actually pretty good. They showed us their locker room facilities, their campus. I am going to major in criminal justice and it showed their academics."

Pritchard's Draft Stock Way UP

ESPN Premium released today, and if anyone has access to ESPN , I wonder are Duarte or Dante listed? Doubtful. The Ducks could be really good next year....

I'd sure like to see everyone who can come back, come back, but there's always the D League and Europe, assuming there's a season....Doubt that Chris or N'Faly get drafted, but will they move on?

From free content 247:

'ESPN's Jonathan Givony and Mike Schmitz have updated their full draft mock and Payton Pritchard saw him climb from being projected in the low 50s to now the mid-30s of the 60-pick draft. Pritchard is currently projected to be the sixth pick of the second round and the 36th overall selection. He's now projected to be drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers, who have previously acquired this draft pick from the New York Knicks."

Love to see him a Blazer, but they have an all star in Lillard and rising star in Simmons, so probably not. Imo, Pritchard may have trouble with some taller/longer PG's, but his game is polished and he's ready to contribute.

Cam McCormick Update

This just came from his mother:

"Just received the news the NCAA granted Cam not one, but TWO additional years of eligibility for a total of 7 due to his medical hardships!!! So, he gets his senior year, and 2 more if he needs it! I couldn’t be happier for him and I can’t thank the program enough for believing in him and making this happen!! Go Ducks!!!!"

Cristobal OL notes...

Coach did a nice job yesterday of talking about some of the OL we will be seeing plenty of next year. Here is what he had to say about it:

Really pleased with the progress of the offensive line, undoubtedly. I thought that we found some answers and we found them in a hurry.

We knew Alex Forsyth had been biding his time and he really showed out well at center and at guard.

Really fired up about the progress of big Sala, you know who's been here for a year. Really changed his body a ton.

Really surprised pleasantly surprised by the advancement of Sam Poutasi, who has come out and really change his body as well, weighing 310 pounds and playing with more power more balance.

Fired up about TJ Bass. Stepped right in and jumped in multiple positions and a lot like Sala and Alex Forsyth, those guys are playing with a lot of power, and certainly a lot of balance. They use their length really well. Different body types, you know, that can play a couple different positions upfront.

Steven Jones continues to show that he's going to be one of the better offensive linemen in our opinion, not only in the Pac-12 but around the country.

Really fired up about Jonah and the way he came along in the spring. As well as Jonathan Denis, a guy that just got here and showed that he's got to be in the mix for playing time. Both of those young guys are just impressive, athletically, the way they grasp the offense, the way that they approach their business on a daily basis. These guys handled it like pros.

And obviously guys like Throck and Hanson and Brady Aiello and Dallas and Shane Lemieux, those guys, they left a blueprint about how things are done upfront and these guys have followed it to a tee. So very pleased with the progress of the offensive line.

A couple guys got banged up a little bit early, while we expect them to be back in summer or whenever we resume.
