We are gonna play: Who opts out?

It looks like the handwriting is on the wall and the PAC is gonna play.

So...which Ducks will opt out?

My take:

1. Penei...out..nothing to prove...why take a chance on getting hurt.

2. T Graham....in my opinion, he should play. I think that as it stands now he would be a mid-round pick at best and maybe late round. If he plays and has a great year, he could make himself a lot of $$

3. D Lenoir...same as Graham.

4. Holland...while I have not seen that he has declared....I expect him to go and I don't blame him.

Everyone else should probably stay and play.

Smoke and Pac-12 is clearing...let's go!

Smoke is clearing a bit here in Eugene. I have a bit of experience at this as one of my post-Army jobs included leading Army and Marine battalions when they were called up on natural disasters like wildfires. Doesn't happen every day but I was one of the guys who the government called on when it did.

Point being I can tell with some authority it's clearing here in Eugene finally after over a week. This afternoon is the first time the sun has not looked orange.

And suddenly for Oregon and Cali politicians, things have changed! All sorts of talk about allowing an exception for Oregon and OSU football. Suddenly, newly accessible testing is the difference they will say.

*Note - New Pac-12 decisions not based upon every other P5 conference playing

Football is back.

OT: NFL Empty Stadiums and Piped in Noise

So, with two exceptions the NFL has no fans in the stadiums.

In their infinite wisdom, they have taken recordings from last year from each stadium and have superimposed those soundtracks on this year's game broadcasts.

Very cool technology and a nice try, but I find them too loud (I know) and annoying.

I'll give them a break 'cause it was only week one...but I'm not a fan.

Anybody else with any opinions.

Just trying to find something none CV related...

Big 10 decides to play after all...

If there’s been a defining theme for this anguished Big Ten summer, it’s been waiting. Waiting for news on the fate of the season. Waiting for answers from a frozen conference office. And, finally, waiting for news on a reversal.

On Wednesday morning, the waiting finally ended. After sources confirmed to Yahoo Sports that the Big Ten will return to play in the fall of 2020, the conference made it official. The league is expected to start the season on Oct. 24, which is scheduled to allow for both a conference title game and a potential spot in the College Football Playoff.
