I spent the last two days in Vegas at a huge 7v7 tournament and talked to a number of Oregon targets. I’m on the road most of today, but I’ll start dropping stories tomorrow.

They played great for a few seconds over 3.5 qtrs. but only scored 2 points (and they were FT's) the last 4 and change minutes. The refs absolutely sucked.....pro Stanford but they still should have won this game. Great effort until the collapse.

I haven't seen UA play, but they must be for real. Still, you never know with this group. IF they hadn't been trending so poorly recently, I'd give the Ducks a chance.

Not sure why the fancast has Oregon, but that would be alright by me. He's from Somoa but playing at IMG.

Auburn is a dumpster fire. DB staffer, Brent Jackson. Sorry if this was already mentioned, I cant keep up with em all.

Ducks lost game one 3-0 but bounced back to win game two 8-4. Either the starting pitcher for Baylor is really good or we were just flat in game one. I reckon we will see her again tomorrow.
Both teams are now 7-1 so something has to give....

Go Lady Ducks!

Ducks replacing all 3 weekend starters from a year ago but have a lot back otherwise. Game is at 6 PM.

Thus should be entertaining. Wonder if they enjoy getting slapped around by congress

I'd guess they wanted to make sure SC was, in fact, the highest bidder. I wonder what Dye got and I hope it's a lot. It's a strange era we are in, and you have to wonder how teammates feel about this.

Cameron Brandt is on the rise. The versatile defensive lineman from Sierra Canyon HS in Chatsworth, California is starting to gain steam in his recruitment with several new offers in the last month. Oregon decided to jump in with an offer this week and it surprised the 6-foot-4 recruit. Now he's working on setting up a visit with the Ducks as he continues to explore his options. I talked with him today about the offer from Oregon, and it is clear it is one that is going to hold a lot of weight with him moving forward. He'll visit USC in early March and he already visited Washington and Cal back in January.

“We talked and he was talking about how he liked my film and how he could see me fitting in. Then he said, ‘You got an offer from Oregon.’ I was kind of shocked by that, because Oregon has always been a dream school. Kids want to go to Oregon, so that was kind of crazy for me.”

Another must win. UA seems like perhaps a bridge too far, but the team that swept the Rockies schools and the LA schools could show up and surprise us. Fingers crossed.

I kept myself away from the live streaming of this in order to be more productive. In reviewing the posts from of the most sophisticated Duck track fans on Chile’s Track Ducks website,
I am much encouraged at the times and marks. The late bloomers are starting to demonstrate why Oregon recruited them.

There are too many things to report. Ultimately, it will be best to get up a link to a synopsis of the day. With maybe one exception, the women and men sprinters are really coming on. We have a couple of “also ran” no name sprint recruits that are now turning heads. Credit smart recruiting and great coaching for the success. The teams need to improve to make the podium at the NCAA Indoor Championships, but they are improving. Let’s see how much more they’ll improve.

The ladies won despite being a bit off so it seems, only 6 hits and gave up nine hits. Texas State was a tourney team last year I believe so not bad competition. T.S. made three errors which helped us. Bunker with a 2 run dinger!! Kliethermes goes to 3-0 in the circle!
Now they play three against Baylor over the next couple days. 6-0 and rolling!!
