Postgame interviews from last night

The Dan Lanning video didn't get posted here last night -- I'll take the blame for the miscommunication on that.

Meanwhile, Oregon just posted the player interviews a couple hours ago. We will start shooting our own video postgame to avoid this delay.

Recap: Oregon rolls on with 45-27 win over Stanford

Here is Mitchell Forde's story recapping Oregon's latest victory as the Ducks continue to dispatch opponents thanks to an explosive offense and a stout defense.

QB for next season

There have been a few or more posts about the abilities of Thompson and Butterfield and some comparing him to Nix, sometimes unfavorably but also with some support.

So who do the Ducks choose for a starter next season? A freshman who has never played in a top level game or one of two back-ups who have been pushed out by transfers? Does Oregon look for another transfer to let Moore get up to speed?

Tracking the commits: Future Ducks remain dominant

Here's my latest roundup of the performances from Oregon's current commits last week. A couple of the future Ducks had the week off, but most of the others were dominant in their games. Two of the standout performances include Kenyon Sadiq catching 5 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown (plus a bunch of other contributions) and edge rusher Blake Purchase adding two more sacks to his total for the season taking him to 10 on the year. He is the current sacks leader in Colorado, and he might be wanted for what he did to the Regis Jesuit quarterback on the first of his two sacks last week.

Other players such as Dante Dowdell, Dante Moore and Jurrion Dickey continue to back up their high rankings with their play. It was another all-around strong week for the Oregon commits.

OT: USC's 5 star MBB recruit suffered cardiac arrest this Summer

Sucks for him. He was supposed to be the next great USC big man. I guess they are finally releasing the info now due to team practices having started. At 7'1" that's a lot of work for his heart.
