Ahhhh! Feel the fix! Oregon needed that …as did the US… after the men’s 4x100.
I watched it in the early afternoon on an NBC app. It was an international broadcast that really didn’t have an American focus. However, the British broadcaster singled out Jenna Prandini as having put the US back into the race on her third leg. He called Prandini’s third leg “Brilliant”.

Oregon will not drop jaws with our medal count, but Jenna dropped some jaws with her relay leg. Right now Oregon has:

Silver in Softball
Bronze in track ..Women’s 800 ( Rogers)
2 Silvers in the 4x100(Gardner,Prandini)
That’s 4.
Oregon is guaranteed either a Gold or Silver in Baseball
So a minimum of 5 medals.
We still have the Marathon and the Men’s 1500 to go.
So, you can see how much that women’s 4x100 meant. We had two of the most thrilling track athletes in Oregon his in English Gardner and Jenna Prandini on the 4x100 team.

Prandini was in both the 100 and 200. This is her second Olympics. So in three tries she had yet to make the podium. It was especially satisfying to see her win a Silver Medal. Gardner now has aSilver to Go with her Gold from Rio.
