Oregon Men T&F neck and neck...

With Arkansas in the last rankings prior to the NCAA Indoor Championships

"It’s not just the Hogs and Ducks in contention for the title, nor are they alone in championship pedigree. In fact, the top six teams in these rankings – Arkansas, Oregon, No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 4 Florida, No. 5 LSU and No. 6 Tennessee – have combined to win 29 of the past 32 national team titles."

Oregon offers 4 star WR......

Oregon extended an offer to 4 star WR Tee Higgins from Tennessee. This kid has been waiting for an Oregon offer. He was committed to Tennessee, but opened it back up a couple of weeks ago. Supposedly Clemson is in a good spot for him, but the Oregon offer might shake things up.

There was an interview with him a couple of months ago where he said Oregon is his "dream school" and that his family would support him attending Oregon because they know how much he loves the Ducks. I believe it was an interview on Scout.

Can lightening strike twice in Tennessee? Can the Ducks pull the top receiver from the Volunteer state in back to back classes? Hopefully, we can get Higgins and Jacoby Stevens to visit and Mitchell and Amadi can be their escorts. I think Higgins is the best receiver in the '17 class. Kid is a stud!

Romar Reprimanded

I must admit, in several close games this season, more than I can recall in the past...the officials just stop officiating in the final seconds of the game. It happened to the Ducks and the Tar Heels at least once where there were hard fouls at the end of the game. I didn't see what happened to Romar's team, but I don't have much trouble believing he's got a legit gripe.

Combine...Bralon runs 4.66

I expected faster.

I think that he will be much faster at the Pro Day...he will need to be to get drafted at a decent spot.

Also, VA ran a 4.83.

I knew he was not Mariota, but I honestly thought that he was faster than that.

Not such a big deal for him though because he is a QB and his time is fast enough.

Looks like Marshall is not running

The receivers 40 times, for the most part, are surprisingly slow.....even some of the "Big Names."

Mayock says this is the slowest class of receivers he can remember.

Really no point to this post......I'm just having football withdrawals........

OT: Grand Illusion

Greetings all, after less than normal of my internal dialogue/debate, and just a couple of formal queries, I decided I preferred to release this book independently now.

This one is quite a bit longer, maybe less detailed in the areas of some compulsions, but still an approach that I found interesting. For those that do not read my rambled musings on my blog, this book came froim a strange inspiration while driving home one night on Cornell Road. I had this vivid picture of a small pickup rolled over the side and a person who wanted to 'start over' in life. From there the concept grew, changed, grew some more, and changed some more into what it is today.

After some false starts on earlier work, I had this one professionally reviewed prior to my edits and have spent the past 8 weeks editing based on that review, as well as the original 4 weeks of edits. As for what to do if you buy it and like it, here is my request, after reading it, leave your review on Amazon, then give the book to someone else and ask them to read it, if they like it, buy it and pass along a copy to someone else who might like it with that same request.

Thanks to everyone for all of their support! I have been somewhat inactive over the course of the last week as I finalized my edits, including some 'copy edit' stuff relating to fonts, chapter titles, etc. I added an acknowledgements page, but want to say publicly here how much I appreciate all that A.J. has done for me over the last almost five years. The opportunity to write for Rivals has been paramount to my decision to pursue fiction. Without the support of DSA and Rivals, I am not sure if this would have ever been possible for me.

I have made it available in both paperback and eBook format at these links:
