Whenever I hear some is a" sure thing" or "all Duck" I cringe. None of these guys are sure things or even close to it. I expect Falo to SC as well. I still believe that if he was going to be a Duck he would have announced on his visit.

I could be wrong, but all these recruits can change their minds so NO ONE KNOWS. Not even their coaches, parents and friends can know. Many of these kids decide the morning they sign
The odds are we will get a few of these guys that supposedly favor us, and we could also get a surprise we aren't aware of. The indecision and change of direction can work in our favor as well

Anyway, I actually was confident with Artis as I'm amazed any kid wants to go to Baylor. Hopefully, that means I'm wrong about Falo as well

I'm just saying.....since my Dad passed in November I really don't speak to anybody about this cause most of my friends don't care or are Beavers.

Notre Dame is ranked 14. They have 8 4-Stars and 9 3-Stars with a total of 18 recruits to date. Average star ranking is 3.39. Total points are 1919.

Oregon, on the other hand, has 8 4-Stars and 11 3-Stars with a total of 20 recruits to date. They have an average star rating of 3.35. Total points are 1752.

I assume the point system is related to a quality element that gives each athlete an individual value within their respective star level.

Since Oregon is 167 points lower than Notre Dame does that mean Notre Dame is getting better quality 4 and 3 stars??

Is there a place where I can see the athlete's points? I found an RR in the player profile but the RR doesn't appear critical.

I don't have much, digging around with a BUNCH of people to see what is up. We expected his commitment to be announced today. When that did not happen, I did some digging. From a personal coach I received this message: "He was committed to Oregon silently. If they dropped him that's news to me."

But still no commit. I have spoken to several other recruits and none of them know what is going on with Gibson right now. I spoke to some folks at Louisiana Tech where his name suddenly emerged. They were a bit surprised to see him on their radar.

No one I have talked to will verify anything of substance regarding qualifications. The OC at LaTech, Todd Fitch, was the OC at USF the year before Taggart got there under Holtz... so he had some connections in Florida and it is possible that a soft landing spot was worked out IF there is a reason for the Ducks and/or Gibson to move on.

I continue to hear that Coach Heyward pushed really hard to flip Gates from UCLA and I know that Lenoir and Pickett were working hard on getting Blades to choose the Ducks. Both are extremely, very, highly unlikely to choose Oregon, but never say never, I suppose, until there is a signature on a dotted line.

I have about 8 people looking for something more than a rumor; will let you know if I find out more.

I'm putting together a couple pieces leading into LOI on what is left for Oregon's class of 2017. Part of that is figuring out where the guys are going that are already committed. What do you guys think of these for the existing 20 for projected first year positions?
