Gold Medal at World Championships for Oregon's Ariana Washington

Though she was not on the winning team in the finals, Oregon's Ariana Washington anchored the American 4 X 100 relay team that had the fastest time in the heats, giving her a gold medal as a competing member of the American team. It has been a long season, but she now joins Phyllis Francis (400 m gold) bringing a medal home from London.

Scott, Thanks for another great Flock Talk Piece!

Scott, Thanks again for sharing another insightful Flock Talk Piece. It is understandable
that some, perhaps many ,Duck Fans are uncomfortable or disappointed by the way the
Ducks Football Program and Coaching Staff was changed. Until last season they had done
a good job. That said, no one can deny the abject failure of last season and the wholesale
collapse, of leadership, discipline, team moral, and respect that had been present in the past.
How soon we all forget the posts on this same board calling for action by Rob Mullens, Phil
Knight, Pat Kilkenny and others to right the Duck Ship. I for one am all in for the changes and
want nothing but success for this program. I hope all Duck fans rally around Coach Taggart and
his staff, and "JUST DO SOMETHING". Make the Ducks Football Program "GREAT AGAIN"!

Football record

Texas Tech o-lineman Tony Morales might seek approval from the NCAA for an eighth year of eligibility.

He got exemptions for a torn labrum back in 2011, then for a strained knee ligament, another torn labrum, and another knee issue the next three years.

To put this in perspective:
Morales was signed by Tommy Tuberville, which means his playing career has survived Tuberville’s coaching career.

"One Chance?"

There's been a lot of talk about how "WT is serious" and all that, but this Carrington deal wasn't "one chance and you are gone." He tested pos. for weed and sat out for the FF. Last Summer he was in a scuffle and allegedly broke a guy's arm, and at that time was on video tape apparently intoxicated and boasting about being the "best WR in the country."

Would any one of those be enough to get a player tossed? Smart money is there will be something that tests him......
