WR recruiting about to get exciting

For those still worried, I wouldn’t be.

I’d be highly surprised at this point if Oregon doesn’t take 4 or 5 WR as I predicted earlier.

My odds:
Battle - 68%
Crocker - 60%
Williams - 55%
Ezeike - 50%
Harrison - 40%
Moore - 25%
Waddle - 20%

I strongly believe the Ducks will land Battle, as he has now cancelled his final OV and even coming off his Ole Miss visit still seems like a Duck lean

Crocker could have been a Duck earlier if Taggart would have taken his commitment, and taking their time almost cost Oregon, but after this weekend, one of the best route runners should quack. We’ll see who wins this civil war

Williams is a Ducks Vs Trojans battle , haven’t gotten to chat with him about the visit yet, but still a hung the Ducks win out in the long run.

Ezeike is a bit of a coin flip, if others drop before him, he may end up at SC even, and Ole Miss is seen as another player. He may pull the trigger early for the Ducks to lock in a spot

Harrison is tough to get a full read on. He really likes Taggart, but is he really going to go across country? Utah is the dark horse here, but I still like the Duck chances in the long run

Moore is an option because of Deonte Williams, but Texas is likely too big of an offer to overcome. Guessing the Ducks are runner up here

Waddle seems like Texas AM, though a few others are in play. Ducks aren’t dead, but I don’t like the chances to pull the very Duckly named receiver

Final dream class at WR

Hall, Battle, Crocker, Williams, Harrison

Cristobal hires Bobby Williams from Alabama as ST and TE coach

Per AL.com, Bobby Williams, who has been with the Crimson Tide since 2008, is heading west to be an assistant coach at Oregon. He spent two years in an off-the-field position while his new job is reportedly back on the field.

The two-year contract is worth $300,000 a year, OregonLive.com reported. A spring 2015 pay raise bumped Williams' salary to $440,840 a year at Alabama.

At Oregon, Williams will be reunited with former Alabama assistant Mario Cristobal. Promoted after the season, Cristobal just finished his first season as co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach.

Williams was a Saban assistant dating back to their time at Michigan State. He took over the head coaching job in 2000 when Saban left for LSU, coached three years in that position before being fired in 2002.

Williams then coached under Saban at LSU in 2004 and with the Dolphins 2005-06 before joining him at Alabama in 2008. He coached tight ends and special teams through the 2015 season when he moved to a special assistant role under Saban.

As of Thursday night, Williams was no longer listed the staff page of the official Alabama website.

On the Civil War

When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for a people, bound by a common tradition and united in an opposition to a contemptible opponent, to rise together and proclaim the veracity and honor of their position and its superiority to that of the foe, then shall the world feel the rightness of our position and hear the thunder of our roar.....

GO DUCKS!!!

Perspective about The Armory

The men might be stronger than expected. The biggest surprises were Tristan James's +25 long jump, Mick Stanovsek 's 3:57.9 indoor mile, and Cam Stone's break out performance in a sub 48 indoor 400.
Also Cravon Gillespie is impressive in the sprints

Perhaps the biggest concern is Arian Washington.
The Olympian began the season as a Bowerman Trophy hopeful. Is she nursing an injury? Coming off the flu? Who knows? In order for the women to win another NCAA team championship, they will need a healthy Ariana

In general both the mean and women teams are looking good. They seem to be enthusiastic and focused. Many of the athletes have shown improvement from last season. The newcomers and transfers both seem to be benefiting from Oregon coaching
