Recruiting Loyalty

So,

LSU gets a verbal in April from a 5* WR.

LSU gets a verbal in March from a 4* DE.

LSU pulls the DE's scolly at the last minute (boo).

WR is friends for life with the DE who lost his scolly at the last minute.

WR thumbs his nose at LSU and flips to Maryland because LSU dropped his friend.

Personally...I like it.

Micah Williams names top 3

Portland Benson Tech star sprinter, Micah Williams held out of the early NLI. He has disclosed his top three schools:
LSU, USC, and Oregon.
He is ranked the sixth best combined gender recruit in the country, and the top short sprinter in high school by Milesplit

On the disappointing side, girl’s phenom Katelyn Toughy has signed an NLI with NC State. She has been a dominant distance star throughout her high school days. She is considered to be the top recruit in the nation by some.

Both of the above competitors could get pro offers. So even after signing we still won’t know for certain where they will end up.

If Oregon gets Micah it will be huge! He ran an outdoor 10.21 last season. This spring he should be even faster.

Darnell Washington Question

I'm still intrigued by MC's search for a "big body TE" and the fact that Washington refused to sign early with Georgia or anyone and shut down any comments. The Bulldogs had him at 100% and may still be right, but why refuse to sign like Ringo and keep it under wraps till January?

In the meantime Yary is uncommitted, and I'd be interested in finding out who Mario has in mind to fill this important spot.

Meyer to NFL?

Were I a USC fan I'd be livid in the coming seasons. That assumes they could have gotten him. First the Reggie Bush sanctions which put them back fro years, and now Carol Folt is determined to be Madame Morality in college sports while all they need to do is have strong internal controls, which isn't really that hard.
