in Tucson at the Dessert Classic today. That moves him to #3 all time as a Duck student athlete.

Sorry, for those interested, had to work today and couldn’t get the updates out on this one, but maybe that’s a good thing as the ducks struggled and lost the rubber match, losing the series with WSU.

Can’t be perfect all year but it was definitely the worst pitching outing they’ve had this year. Ducks had the Gonzaga game cancelled tomorrow due to covid concerns in gonzaga’s program. Ducks head back home next week for a series with the huskies and I think they will take some aggressions out on the huskies next week as I’m calling the sweep now!

Detroit has a new coach and GM and they are super excited to get Penei.

Detroit Lions War Room Had Crazy Excited Dad Energy When They Picked Penei Sewell​

The Detroit Lions picked Oregon's Penei Sewell with the seventh pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Judging by the reaction in the Lions' war room, they were really excited about it. Seriously, look at these guys hooting and hollering.

The energy in the room certainly seems like the kind of thing that Dan Campbell is looking for as he builds an exciting, knee-biting new culture in Detroit.

It also says that they are high on Jared Goff because they did not take Mac Jones or Justin Fields and instead went out and got a guy to protect Goff. And they are really excited about it. Just look at the way Campbell adjusts his pants. That's a proud dad right there

Not to trash the guy, who I think will be a good pro, but how common is it for a 5 star to be drafted in Round 5 or below?

Case in point the Cowboys drafted CB Nashon Wright from Oregon State with the 99th pick of the draft....one spot ahead of CB Elijah Molden from UW.

Molden....1st team All PAC-12, 2nd Team All America.

Wright...well he played for the Beavs,

Molden was ranked #7 CB and #49 overall

Wright was ranked #34 CB and #272 overall.

Wright was drafted one spot in front of Molden.

Gotta love the Draft!!


Oh yeah...and the Cowboys still suck.
