LSU 4-star CB Commit Daylen Austin was on in Eugene for a visit to Autzen earlier this month as he continues to assess all his options at this stage of the process. He'll be in Baton Rouge this weekend for his official visit with the Tigers and his commitment to that program remains in place, but Oregon has continued to push in the hopes of getting him to flip to the Ducks by the time he's ready to sign his NLI. Austin has built some strong relationships with the coaching staff at Oregon led by his relationships with Demetrice Martin and Tosh Lupoi. The Ducks now also have his former DB coach at Long Beach Poly, Rashad Wadood, on staff as the team's director of community engagement.

Austin credits Wadood for a lot of his growth and development as a high-level player over the last couple years. The Rivals250 prospect is keeping his ears open to schools that want to continue recruiting him, and Oregon is among that group. He says USC, Miami, Michigan State and Louisville are the other schools staying in touch this fall.

His connection with the staff at Oregon is clear, and he has a lot of appreciation for what the Ducks bring to the table.

"Going up there it's like family to me. They've been talking to me for a minute. I've built a good relationship with most of them up there. So, it just felt like a little family trip just seeing old friends or whatever you wanna call it."

Austin says right now his plan is to hold off on signing an NLI until February giving Oregon more time to continue pursuing him as a member of its 2023 class.

The high school football world is Dante Dowdell's and everyone else is just living in it. The Oregon running back commit has been stellar this season, and he turned in another outstanding performance last week in another win for Picayune HS out in Mississippi. He rushed for over 220 yards for the third consecutive week and also had his second 98-yard rushing touchdown of the year in that game. His big night was just one of many for future Ducks last week, and here's a roundup of all their performances last week heading into Friday night.

Here's the first of our postgame coverage as Mitchell Forde brings you five of the biggest takeaways from Saturday at Autzen Stadium.

Here is Jacob's recap of today's game as Oregon earned a signature win for Dan Lanning by taking down the ninth-ranked Bruins at Autzen.

Watched a good UNC v Dook game last weekend, and Dook is pretty good, but sheesh.. Man, did we win out on that deal or what? Almost like "loosing" Willie T.

Good afternoon all,

Been a crazy week. We closed our new place in Tuesday. After we got the keys, I have spent most nights getting the 'little stuff' over which is really just loads of boxes in my car to try and get ahead of the 'big stuff' we will be doing Sunday.

Yes. I WILL be tailgating again Saturday (which just adds to the craziness), but I wouldn't miss this for the world.

The plan is to get there somewhere between 7:30 and 8:30am to set up.

We will be in the AUTZEN LOT, Space 6543 again thanks to the generosity of a member!

I do not have a plan for food this time as I have been going non-stop all week on moving stuff. I think I will likely just go with burgers and dogs with some chips and salsa as well as drinks.

hope some of you can make it by. Biggest home game since 2014 at the very least. Should be lots of people milling about. I will have the TV up for whatever is left of GameDay when I get in...

The one thing I am so impressed with a Lanning coached team is the improvement each week. I gotta believe the defense is due for a breakout.
