OT: Favor Request

Hey all,

For those that did not know, after the Oregon-Oregon State game, our RV got "tagged" ostensibly by OSU fans. We have it parked in a secured lot, but there is no way for the site to do anything. I am hoping someone that has some space in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area would be willing to rent me some space if they had extra space.

Ours is a 24' Class C motorhome so not a big space.

Shoot me a DM if that is something available (my HOA does not allow RVs parked in the area)

Under Armour Camp

From tomorrow's Inside Read:

RECRUITING NOTES:

Just some notes from the Under Armour Camp:

  • Aaron Butler looked good out there and will be visiting Oregon later this month. Georgia seems to be the front-runner right now, but let’s see how the visit goes.

  • Kamar Mothudi will be at the Spring Game this month as well as taking a later official visit. I really like where Oregon is there and would not be surprised to see a commit in the next month.

  • Don’t lose sight of massive OL Eugene Brooks. He still likes Oregon and the Ducks are recruiting him hard.

  • One name to keep an eye on that had a good camp is Levar Talley. Oregon is recruiting him with a lot of energy and that could be a factor for him. He has been to Eugene before and might make it up for the Spring Game.

  • Xavier Jordan also had a good camp and is still being recruited by a lot of teams including Oregon.

  • Ryan Pellum is another key target for the Ducks that had a good camp. The Ducks have made him a priority and it is having an impact. He still has a long way to go and a few more visits ahead, but the Ducks like him a lot.

  • Nathaniel Frazier was at the camp, but I just don’t see Oregon landing the elite Mater Dei RB.

Spring Game Coverage

Good news, we will have photog Scott Kelley there to get pictures.

And, some other dude named Scott will be covering the game. He's kinda long-winded at times and used to like tailgating before spring games, so if you can tolerate that guy he will have some stuff from the game.

Not sure what the interview sessions will look like or if I will be able to make it to interviews, but will definitely have some takeaways from what I see.

RYAN

As a self employed man, I think that I have a bit of a handle on the vicissitudes of running one's own business.

As a customer, I certainly understand customer service.

You are quite clearly under fire here.

You are losing your customers.

These are facts.

On a business level, I can offer some unsolicited advice.

I've said this before and I won't say it again.

You are the leader here.

You need to "show your face," so to speak.

In my opinion, you need to acknowledge that there has been a difficult transition.

You need to offer your plan for making this site whole again...especially vis a vis our RIVALS...the USC site.

We members need to see your plan.

If you don't have a plan...then we need to know that as well.

The point is this: you owe us dues paying members an explanation, a plan, and yes, maybe even an apology.

I also understand that perhaps u don't care...maybe you've done the math and we really don't matter to you.

I can do without an apology if you can come up with and execute a good plan.

Here is what you need to realize about this site:

We are just a little 'ol Duck site that seems to be populated by a whole lot of hard core Duck fans.

I don't know the stats but I'm guessing that the average age here may be higher than the normal site...not that it really matters.

This site is SPECIAL!

The Ladies and Gents on this site are intelligent, mellow and friendly.

Loging in to this site is like sitting in the local pub, hanging with a hundred Duck buddies talking Ducks.

This may well be your site, but, in my opinion, this site is bigger than you.

Or at least it was.

There are notable cancelations lately....but I have noticed that MANY of the regulars are not around anymore...have they left?

So...my unsolicited advice is this:

1. Be visible
2. Give us a decent plan
3. Execute said plan
4. Treat us with respect
5. Be a HERO

I'm typing this on a cell phone so I apologize for typos, grammer and anything that is incoherent or out of order.

Ryan?

Respectfully,

Corey
