Realistic New Coach

As much as I would love the idea of having Tom Herman as our next coach I believe there is a next to zero percent chance of that happening. With LSU already open and Texas and maybe Auburn soon to follow, Oregon will not be a coaches first choice. So who do we really have a shot at?
I like Fleck, Venables, even Kiffin. Kiffin can recruit and he has had a few years under Saban now. I think the ability to recruit should be one of our primary concerns.

Kellen Clemens to start...

OK, OK it's as a holder. But still...

Like almost every team does in almost every game, the Chargers used their punter as their holder on field goals on Sunday against the Raiders. It did not go well.

Chargers punter Drew Kaser dropped the snap on a game-tying field goal attempt, costing the Chargers a chance at coming back and winning the game. As a result, backup quarterback Kellen Clemens will serve as the holder tonight against the Broncos.

Clemens, who has handled the job in the past when he played for the Jets, said he has done it in practice this year and doesn’t anticipate any problems.

You stay ready for everything,” Clemens said. “I took some holds today, but I’ve been taking holds every week, just nobody has been paying attention.”

Leave of Absence

Gonna take some time off from the board, guys. It's supposed to be fun, and it has been; but, when I logged on this morning and looked at my "New Posts", I saw that 9 of the 10 threads listed had the newest post by "ignored member".

When 90% of the posts on here are originated by someone I respect so little that I've put them on ignore, that's time to do something else for enjoyment.

Take care and Go Ducks!!
