More dominoes before next weekend?

Scott has a great post in the 'second domino' thread with details about where we are and what may happen. I thought his info might get buried as we are all looking for more quacks today and I don't know if a quote would show his entire post so I thought I would start a thread focused on the topic.

How many spots do you think will still be open when next weekend comes around and who still might be added (or subtracted) from the visit list?

Cordarrian Richardson to visit

According to Richardson he will be in town next weekend.

The former Clemson commit opened up his recruitment in December and will visit Oregon on January 27. The 5-foot-11, 222-pounder recently visited UCF and has the Knights in contention, as well.

"I want to take all my visits," Richardson said. "I ain’t going to lie to you. I’ve been tired of the recruiting process, but I had to do it.

"Growing up Oregon had been my dream school and I finally got an offer. I want to see how it looks. USF coaches are cool and all the same. It’s a new staff that brings a positive energy."

Richardson is a 5-11, 222 pound running back from Memphis, Tennessee. He was formerly committed to Clemson and recently told Rebel Grove that he was "90% sure" he would be a Rebel, but there is that one sliver. I think this probably puts to bed the Stephen Carr talk. I have never really felt that he was a "silent" commit. Could bringing in Robinson be accompanied by a call to Carr "hey, we really want you, but we need another running back, so we are bringing this kid in for a visit, if you commit before he visits, we will cancel"? Maybe. This staff will take nothing for granted and clearly want another true RB in this class.

Surprise Visitor name emerges

So, an ASU source has confirmed that one (there may be more than one) surprise visitor is ASU commit, tight end Tyler Johnson. Johnson is a 4 star "athlete" projected as a tight end. He is 6-4, 245 and would be a very good steal. He has been very 'pro ASU' of late, but the nature of the visit shows he might be seeing a significant chance to have an immediate impact at Oregon. Johnson is ranked as the No. 164 overall player in the nation, No. 14 athlete and No. 3 player int eh state of Arizona.

It is one thing to tell you all here, but I am NOT putting this out on Twitter.

Commit Saturday Coming?

With the Poly Bowl set for tonight, there are two Duck targets set to announce during the game.

We expect one for sure and maybe both to choose the Ducks.

Isaac Slade-Matautia. a 6-1, 225 pound four star linebacker has been all Duck for a long time. We expect his announcement to be for the Ducks.

Austin Faoliu, a 6-3, 285 pound defensive tackle once committed to Arizona is known to be down to Oklahoma and Oregon. Despite having only visited Oklahoma, there are increasing signs Faoliu will choose the Ducks. his relationship with new defensive line coach Joe Salave'a is very critical here. He is set to visit the Ducks next weekend and appears he may be a commit before that visit happens.
