Signing Day

Was going to AL, but got turned away as no room at the inn type of deal. We have at least 2 schollies left, if not 4. Cristobol could get on him I think. Pure speculation on my part, but CWT swings for the stars. Also I know, we need TE drastically but a 5* DE turned away on signing day is an opportunity, IMO.

they were so silent they didn't actually sign? Didn't see anyone that wasn't expected on the list

Falo- USC
Falaniko- USC
Artis- Baylor
Speed- UGA
Becton- Louisville

The connections supposedly Taggart and Woodie had with Artis.. being a "second dad" to him and helping him cope with the loss of his father.. didnt mean anything after all. He chooses Baylor AFTER visiting Oregon.

Falaniko, been supposedly waiting for that Oregon offer for months and when he finally got it, was a near duck lock by insiders both here and at 247. Commits to USC AFTER visiting Oregon.

Falo, the sole TE being recruited by Taggart and co. after presumably pushing out Moses Robinson-Carr. He wasnt being shown the love from the staff, and so chose to stay closer to home and picked UCLA. Then.. Falo visits Oregon on the last official weekend before NSD and chooses USC. This is AFTER his visit here, having all the poly's he is closest with travel on their own dime to help recruit him and Falaniko to UO and they both say peace out cub scout and choose the Trojans.

Hell yes im hating on USC right now.

Will next year really matter? Maybe more time will help with building essential relationships but this stuff was supposed to be a recruiting machine and have coaches that were known for closing. (Heyward- Juju, Cristobal, all of bamas OL commits past few years).

This was just an underwhelming end to NSD. Hopefully with Lenoir itll be a nice consolation prize to what could have been.

Go ducks. Do something.

I'm new to DSA and wanna say thank you to the moderators and guys who relay information to us fans. I'm a long time passionate Duck fan who's been lurking but hadn't posted. I was just consuming recruiting info as we got closer to LOI day. I appreciate the knowledgeable banter between fans as well. Thanks to all of U for making today fun! (Besides the stressful moments)

Got an email asking me to be on, will be on with 1080 The Fan @ 11:15

We've gone from November (this class is a bust we need someone to get in here and piece something together) to February (man this class was close to being really special). Could these coaches have done more in 1 month total and about 3 weeks all together (realistically less than that all together)? I wanted some more happy results today but this class went from dead in the water to pretty good. Thanks coaches.

Quick update on Simi Shittu as the five-star forward speaks a tad on the Canadian connection with the Oregon basketball program; worth a quick look. Would be a tremendous add if the Ducks could land for 2018.

So what do we do now? We have 2 spots and no one to fill them. We also only have 2 true tight ends on our roster. Next step anyone?

Scott, I have a question? If what I have read is true, then they only had room for 23 scholarships and supposedly signed 25 recruits, how is that possible. Are they planning to cut some players loose or gray shirt? I don't fully understand all this recruiting stuff.

A couple of top recruits still haven't signed their LOI. Wonder if staff has any interest? Jaylon Johnson a soft commit to Utah and Terrance Lang a soft commit to SC. Maybe a better choice with Lang since SC is full and offering Blue and Grey Shirts now.

Any thoughts??
