Surprise, Harbaugh Talking With LAC's

Not really a surprise. Now the Q will be do they have to compete with Mich's offered salary? As fans of J Herbert do we like Harbaugh as their HC? Apparently he likes Herbert.
Then who will Mich go after?

Poly Bowl Monday Practice notes

- Dylan Williams has great size already and could easily add 15 pounds and still be lean

- Williams said coverage is an area he thinks he excels. Not at full speed, but you can see how he moves that he is very good. Understands his responsibilities in different coverages and moves very fluid.
- In install mode so hard to see everything. Williams understands leverage and how to use his hands on offensive linemen to create better leverage and positions himself well to get off blocks to make plays.

Noticed some things on other players as well

- Brandon Baker looks like a tight end and is very good with his feet. Not sure if he is a day 1 starter, but he will be very good.

- Dylan Raiola is better than you think. He has a cannon (72 yard in the air throw in competition today) and understands the game very well. He is also extremely polite. He walked up and greeted everyone at the check-in yesterday very humbly

- Puka Nacua's younger brother is very thin, but he could be a playmaker for BYU down the road.

All for now!

Polynesian Bowl EXCLUSIVE: Dylan Williams talks Oregon

When asked which game Williams was looking forward to most next year, the answer was not Ohio State, a trip to Michigan or any other of a number of really good games, but was a little bit of a surprise.

“Probably Civil War because I never got a chance to experience it,” Williams said. “I mean, it's going to be played earlier in the year, but it's still going to be... I'm excited to see my first Civil War.”

MBB: Don't Look Now....

With tonight's win over Cal, Ducks sit alone at the top of the confr and have the best overall record in the confr. They should only get better from here.

Polynesian Bowl: Opening Press Conference

Here are the opening remarks from Honolulu. It's kind of funny that the others don't always know what to ask. If you hear audio, you will hear me say 'looks like I will start the quesitons' or something to that effect.

Spring Roster info

I've been reading the year review articles on GoDucks this week (finished offensive units today). At the top they list every player in that position group who was on the roster for the 23 season. At the bottom they look list all the players for spring practice, including portal and early entry freshmen (don't know if January or January and April). Offensive line list for spring doesn't include F. Laloulu (Poncho's big bro who would be a senior next year) or Wooten (who would be a sophomore). That would be two less scholarships. I hadn't heard they were portal guys. The freshmen listed for spring were: Moga, Pellum, Gresham, Ressler, McClellan, McRoy, Saleapaga, Pugliano. Having all the WR's in is huge, not mention McRoy (so maybe setting him up to play as true frosh Poncho last year!)! There were also changes in walk ons.

I don't think the Moseley would leave guys off by mistake. It should be a way to know who is on campus for spring now since they won't print a spring roster until then. BTW the 23 roster has been put back up with most of the portal outs gone, but not all, and some walk ons gone. The defensive and special teams articles should begin tomorrow (offense was the last four consecutive days).
