West Linn vs S Medford

Poor Cota needs a better and taller QB. He was obviously one of the best atheletes on the field, wide open for a TD pass 1st half....way over thrown. Wide open TD pass 2d half, grossly under thrown. No offense to the SM QB, who is probably 5'10" in cleats, but he just couldn't see the field. Still, a pretty close game. Pritchard and Tawa were there, and I made sure to let PP know his first 5 pts for the Ducks vs UNC were epic, the 2 quick fouls, BS.

Wednesday War Room: Nebraska

Okay, the 'real' games start this week.

I know the tendency is to dismiss Nebraska based on their performance in week one; but they are better than their first game would indicate. Are they going to unseat Michigan or Ohio State n the Big Ten this year? No. But they will be a good team.

Arkansas State is a tough team to prepare for; their tempo was very very good. But to get their 4125 passing yards they needed 68 attempts, a paltry 6.1 yards per attempt. They threw quick screen after quick screen and 'nickel and dimed' Nebraska all day long; they scored a late TD to make teh game close.

Nebraska has a very good returner in JD Spielman, the adopted son of Minnestoa Vikings GM Rick Spielman. He is fast and explosive. There is some talent at Nebraska.

Okay on with the rest of it:
