ESPN tabs Redd as possible breakout player

Redd is only 5-foot-8, 171 pounds, but he was electrifying at times this spring. The coaches found ways to get the ball to the quick-twitch slot receiver in space, on reverses and with quick passes. He was a big part of the offense this spring and will be used a few different ways when the Ducks have the ball this fall.

Pac 12 Championship Meet

Will be at Stanford on the anniversary of and the campus where I started my life. Stanford is a place that is near and dear to my heart but I will be clad in green and yellow. I have a lot of Hayward Field friends coming down to watch. We will have a good cheering contingency. Stanford is mentioned as a dark horse contender in both genders, but most expect it to be a two team battle between USC and Oregon.

There are lots of great interviews going down, but I thought that I'd start with this one of Demarcus Simpson.

Aidan Maloney- Under the Radar

Will Aidan Maloney improve his stock during his senior season at Liberty High School? His film is pretty good and just for comparisons here is where Aidan stacks up nationally. He is currently on the National Leader Board of the Nike Opening Regional results.

Aidan checked in at 6'1 180 lbs and ran a 4.63 electronic timed 40, with a 4.30 shuttle and had a 36 in vert.

Another highly regarded recruit, Chris Steele, 6.1.5 and 181 lbs. Chris ran a 4.62, a 4.40 shuttle and had a 43 inch vert.

Here's hoping our local kid can translate the measurements to the field his senior season.

Post-spring position review: offensive line

Coming off 4-8 and 7-6 seasons, the Ducks have a chance to be significantly better in 2018, and that opportunity begins with a now-veteran offensive line.

The question is how much more disciplined and consistent Throckmorton, Hanson, Lemieux and Aiello can be as redshirt juniors, and how strong a contribution they can get from the rest of the two-deep.

Dallas Warmack could definitely help, and the Ducks added the best recruiting class they've ever had on the o-line.

Big offer for Rivals250 prospect

Oklahoma City four-star WR Demariyon Houston holds more than 20 offers, but was just telling me a couple weeks back that he wants to visit Oregon even though the Ducks had not offered yet. Well, that offer came through today, and I can confidently say it's a big one for the Rivals250 prospect.
