19-20 MBB Team--There's Still Hope

Some pundits are still projecting the team to do well next year and compete for the P12, super recruiting classes by AZ, USC and UW notwithstanding. #3 seed out West? Maybe.

Assuming PP returns, and in part because we will have rising stars Richardson and Okoro returning with valuable experience. Add an experienced JC guy in Duarte and 5 star CJW, who would be the only Freshman starting, you still have a leg up on the aforementioned teams as many of UO's players have valuable P12 and tourney experience. If we add Thomas, that will be yet another experienced incoming guy. They may need to have try outs for walk ons for practice, lol. Always new faces, but in Altman we trust.

WBB MIGHT GET MORE TALENT

According to the O....USC player Minyon Moore is visiting the Ducks this weekend. She is a potential Grad Transfer.

"This weekend, the Ducks are set to host USC graduate transfer Minyon Moore, a guard who averaged 14.8 points, 5.9 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game while earning Pac-12 all-defensive honors last season."

Sounds good to me!

KHALID THOMAS TO DECIDE WEDS.

Sure hope he Quaaaaks. The no's 1-2 JC guys, a 5 star and who we have returning would give UO an excellent core of experienced players to work with. Hurley is for sure a solid coach, but Thomas playing with Pritchard for the P12 champ and possible Tourney exposure must be appealing. I doubt ASU can suggest such lofty aspirations.

Duck NLIs In CIF Championship

Oregon NLI Chi Okoro took 2nd in the girl’s 100 In 11.60 finishing ahead of 3rd place USC bound Jazmyne Frost (11.64) and just behind star sprinter, and Miami bound, Diana Nowling ...who went 11.55. That is a talented trio for a high school Championship.

Oregon NLI, Alysha Hickey, won the girl’s high jump and took second in the long jump. Alysha won the long jump last year, so she is a California High School Champion in two events. She is an outstanding athlete.
