We are hearing that Seth Figgins and Peter Latu are not longer to be considered Oregon commits. So, the database and commit list is now updated to show 21 commits for the Class of 2020.

Looked awful tonight choking away a 10 point lead in the 4th qtr. ASU plays very physical and we just didn’t respond at all to that. 17 turnovers, poor 3 point shooting, 50% from the FT line etc. They just don’t look as good as last year for some reason......losing 72-66. Out scored by 16 points in the 4th!!!!!
Looks to me like they miss Cazorla and are believing how good everybody said they were!?

He is a beast and could play multiple positions as we all know. I have heard the thought that he should lose some weight to get even quicker as a linebacker. I understand that as a linebacker he can make plays all over the field. However, wouldn't it be incredible to see him with his hand on the ground at 275 lbs opposite KT? Would be potentially the best DE combo in the country.

Also, I truly want to see them give him a wild package on offense and it sounds like Mario is thinking the same thing

Miami wanted him in a position above Manny Diaz, kind of like a GM role for the Canes. Somehow Diaz in a power play worked it so that the Canes offered him a lesser role UNDER Diaz.

Afterward there was contact made with Mario and there is the chance that he joins the staff as a sort of player development official. But this is not over. Miami folks tell me that they don't think he ends up at Oregon (some "agenting" and a little power play to see if Miami makes a different choice).

All of this is assuming, of course, that Cleveland forest him as they clean house. Time will tell, but I will trust what I have heard and that is that, in the end, Miami folks tell me Highsmithdoesn't not end up at Oregon.
