NBA Draft Day, Pritchard 1st Round?

This article has him at 29. A team that needs a back up PG right away might take him 1st round. Would love to see him a Blazer.

Wilner: PAC-12 to allow nonconference games; research shows no evidence of on-field transmission

The PAC-12 athletic directors are moving to allow for arrangement of nonconference opponents to fill gaps in the schedule.

Also from the same article:

In addition, there are no known instances — anywhere — of on-field transmission of the virus, according to Dr. Allen Sills, the NFL’s Chief Medical Officer.

“We have seen zero evidence of transmission player-to-player on the field, either during games or practices, which I think is an important and powerful statement,’’ Sills told Sports Illustrated last week.

“And it also confirms what other sports leagues have found around the world. We regularly communicate with World Rugby, Australian rules football, European soccer leagues.

“To date, no one has documented a case of player-to-player transmission in a field sporting environment.”

Strong second halves

With us coming out hot in the second half, practice. Coach Cristobal, Coach Mirabal, all the coaches on staff they preach; we come out, we play physical, we do everything we do in a game in practice.

Everybody we play, they have a great team, a great program. Everybody works hard out there. It’s the drive to be great and finish as a team. Coach Moorhead says we are battling against our culture every day.

Being a starter

It is a great opportunity. Everybody always has to wait for an opportunity. Just the opportunity hey are giving me, I want to take advantage of it. It’s crazy running out there with the first offense, even without fans, just having those first snap jitters, the chills, it’s an amazing feeling being able to start these last two games.

Everybody stepped up, even the second offensive line. Everybody works hard, everybody wants to be great.

Upcoming game

UCLA is a great program. They had a great game against Cal Berkeley. They are going to come out and they are going to play hard. They have a great defensive line, they have a great coaching staff, they fly to the ball.

Why has the OL been good with all new starters?

Just going out there and knowing the guy to my right, the guy to my left, trusting 100% that they are going to get that job done. Every day going out there on walk through days, fast Fridays, always trying to take a step forward.

Hats off to Coach Mirabal, he pushes us so hard. He wants us to be great.

Bryan Addison?

At the Nike Opening a couple of years ago Addison stood out as a guy with a bright future. UnderArmour All-American. Caught 18 passes in his redshirt freshman year. Now a sophomore, he seems a bit lost in the depth chart at receiver with Williams, Delgado and Hutson getting playing time ahead of him.

Is he healthy? How are his work habits? Any thought on the coaching staff of moving him back to safety, where the Ducks seem to fighting injuries, illness and suspensions?

At 6-5, 190, it would be a shame to waste all that athletic ability and potential, but with great recruiting comes tough competition.

Toughest little guys in the country?

Defining little guys as under 5'10, the Ducks have a threesome that is pretty damm impressive, Redd, Dye and Verdell. Lots of other good little guys out there , but these guys are physically off the charts for their size. They all finish runs and actually deal out punishment. They catch the ball in traffic. Thery all seem fearless and play with complete reckless abandon. They all seem to play with a chip on their shoulder. In particular, Redds run on the goal line had about as much " want-to" as you will ever see. Might be the best 8 yard run I have ever seen. Same with Verdell trucking that Stanford DB in the end zone. Imressive little fella's!

As for bigger guys, Devon Williams seems to be coming along. He played well, and D.J a huge surprise
