Oregon closely watching Rivals100 LB

Although Oregon has yet to offer, four-star 2022 LB Sebastian Cheeks tells me he is in contact with the Ducks almost daily. Cheeks walks through overcoming recent struggles and where things are headed in his future in the article below:

Hate to call out an individual player who has never actually played,but....

How bad is Henry Katleman? C'mon Henry, are you flippin kidding me? For those asking, "who the hell is Henry Katleman", take a look at the deph chart

Seriously, I have watched Camden Lewis for 15 games or so and the guy is simply not a division 1 kicker. Mario keeps saying he does well in practice and no one has lost confidence, blah...blah....blah. Of course, he has to say that becasue he knows that kicking is all about confidence, and being a preson that iikes to be out in clutch situtations. Mario can't say " our kicker sucks", or the kid would go even deeper into the tank. I'm sure Lewis is a fine guy and will be successful in life, but he does not handle the stress of being a kicker . I'm amazed that he even wants to do it. It can't be fun kicking so poorly in game situations. His problems have to be mental or he wouldn't even be on the team.I'm sure he's hell on wheels in practice, but who the hell cares? I would love to see him turn it around somehow, but when I watch him trot out on the field I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. Its inexcusable that a program of Oregons stature does not have a Divisdion 1 kicker. I would give SOMEONE else at least a shot! This has to be corrected next season. Its going to cost the team games.

Clock management?

I think it's one of the areas Mario Cristobal needs to improve on as head coach. He's not decisive enough in this area, and occasionally makes decisions that don't give him the best chance to win.

The incomplete pass on third down (Oregon's last full possession) was a disaster. The timeout with 40 seconds to play was a head scratcher.

Any thought to letting them score a play or two earlier when they got that close?

To win these types of games, they have to get more physical at the line of scrimmage and execute under pressure. I believe also they have to be more cohesive in their clock management decisions. Please discuss.

Beavs crying about VMIII play???

I gotta say....give us a break.

All angles I've seen of the play shows no malice and no twisting or yanking motion....there was no "gator roll".

I think you're still allowed to grab the ball carrier's leg when trying to tackle him and I think you're also allowed to try to pull that dude backwards when he's about to score the game winning score with 30 seconds left.

I'm sorry the ball carrier's leg or ankle was injured on the play but that shit happens from time to time and it doesn't mean it's intentional. Players get injured on completely legal plays all the time.😏

Cal Oregon Series

According to Winsipedia , Cal leads the series 41-40-2.

One of Cal’s victories was a game won on the field by Oregon in 1979, but Oregon had to forfeit all of their games when it was discovered that Oregon transfer cornerback Rock Richmond had an illegitimate course grade from his previous school . Also, back in the earlier days of the series most of the games were played in Berkeley. Oregon has actually been the better program.

Should Oregon win this game, then they even the series. Some series counters simply throw out the Rock Richmond loss and just not count the game. Tallying the series that way has the series even. However, I want for Oregon to blow by the Golden Bears in all ways of counting. As a northern Californian, I have waited a long time to see Oregon go ahead in this series. I hope that Mario can rebound from having been out coached by Jonathan Smith to coaching his team to victory.
