Huskies need to be patient with their coach

The guy has only been there 2 years and last season was a Covid year. I'm not a Husky , but I hate to see a rush to judgement on a young coach. He is just growing into the job. Please be fair and give Coach Lake a few more years. It's really that gosh darn OC and now he is gone. Please, please give the man a chance!!

Grant Griffin Gets UO Offer

From deep down in Louisiana. I missed this l, but I’m not surprised because Oregon tripped him. It is interesting because his marks are not impressive. Oregon throws coach Erik Whitsitt must see great potential here. He is not the only one because Grant has been widely recruited. Most of the out of state throwers are top students and qualify for partial academic scholorships … this is especially true with the men because there is not a lot of athletic scholarship money available in that category. No doubt about his size. Let’s see how Erik does with his baby giant.

More Playoff New Year's Bowl BS

Cincy gets way too much credit for beating ND. Oh well, none of it matters. Many assume a 1 loss tOSU gets in over UO. Way too early to worry.
RB would be a good one this year, but UO might be the only team from the P12 worth it unless Utah continues to improve, which is quite possible.

Note in the subsequent article UO is no. 4 in power rankings.

Marios's PERFECT dig at Jimmy Lake

Surprised no one has discussed this. Without skipping a beat or pausing for effect MC comments on the Ducks " Prowess on handling inclement weather" Funny, never hear Mario use the word "prowess" before. Very subtle dig without being a jerk about it. Perfect! Jimmy Lake is so far in over his head in every aspect of being a head coach

Predict-a-score winner UW game: Diego

ESPN SOR and Play Off Field

13/1 or undefeated MSU (obviously) BIG team or undefeated Okl. gives us problems. Where they come up with 2 loss Bama is a typical mystery to me. Sure, they play tough teams, but 2 losses? Anyway, we have gone through this so many times just before a loss I don't even want to think about it. Give some % probabilities based on certain outcomes.....

Defending northern divisions Champ's pass defense #1 in the nation

Leading the nation by allowing just 146 yards per game is a little misleading. There are only 14 teams team who have faced fewer attempts. Why? Because their run defense ranks 95th and is an inviting soft spot. Still, I expect Oregon to gain enough passing yardage to knock them down a few spots. the bar isn't that high. Wish there was a stat about their screen pass defense which may make a difference on the wet day ahead. The Hushkies do have the 29th best third down defense but are 65th in time of possession (1 minute longer than Oregon's). I'm thinking the Ducks will come close to flipping that stat Saturday.
