DYNAMIC DUO: OREGON moved up one spot in this week’s College Football Playoff rankings to #3, the Ducks second highest ranking in CFP history. Oregon was #2 in the final 5 weeks of the 2014 season. UTAH enters at #24, their first time being ranked by the CFP since the 2019 season.
GAME POSTPONED: Saturday’s matchup of USC at CALIFORNIA has been postponed and rescheduled for Saturday, December 4th. Cal had additional football student-athletes test positive for COVID-19 and are unavailable to practice this week or play in the game.

Ryan Walk has been named one of the 10 semifinalists for the Burlsworth Trophy, the most outstanding college football player to begin their career as a walk-on. It was their first win when scoring 10 points or less since 2010, when they beat Cal 10-9. 202 rushing yards in the win over Cal, 3rd time this season they have rushed for over 200 yards. The defense held Cal to just 122 total yards (28 rush, 94 pass), the fewest they’ve allowed since 2008 and fewest in a conference game since 2006.
