Who is Arizona?

So I am hearing a lot about how great Arizonas offense is and that might be the case. I haven’t watched them play a down of football. But their offensive success seems to have largely come against bad teams, particularly against Cal and Colorado. But against Miss St they didn’t look very good at all. So why should their performance vs Cal and Colorado be more of an indicator of how good their offense is than what they did vs Miss St? Just curious.

Classy farewell from Emmanuel Ihemeje

Ihemeje who placed fifth in the men's triple jump at the World Athletics Championships in July and was 12th in the Tokyo olympics, will not be returning to Oregon. Not too surprising given his jump coach, former head coach Robert Johnson, was not coming back either, and Ihemeje is clearly ready for a pro career. Still he was a lot of fun to watch competing for Oregon... a class act and his farewell video reflects that.

Latest: Edge rusher Matayo Uiagalelei recaps his in-season visit to Oregon

Matayo Uiagalelei and his team from St. John Bosco played at Autzen Stadium last month and the four-star DE ended up sticking around to watch the Ducks take on Eastern Washington. It was just the latest in a string of visits to Oregon over the course of the year, but the game day trip gave Uiagalelei another opportunity to learn more about the team. He was wearing Oregon gloves in his last game and the Ducks continue to be a big part of the process as he sorts through his options. He admits that he is still unsure of where he will go, but Oregon continues to sit in a strong position.

Here's a quote with Uiagalelei talking about his latest visit with the Ducks.

“It was pretty cool. We had a game, so I was still focused on my game, first. But, it was just cool to see the coaches there and watch the game after. ... It was one of the lower games, but they still showed out and played a pretty good game.”

USC hosted him for a game day visit on Saturday and he visited Ohio State earlier in the season. At this point he doesn't have any other trips planned.

Below are game clips of the four-star prospect from Friday night's game with every snap he played except for two at the start of the game that I missed when I was taking photos.

TY Thompson

I'm sure everyone knows Ty hasn't been impressive on the plays he was the QB. However the OL he was playing with were the second unit. I would love to see him play with the 1st string OL, then we could get a true sample of what he can do. I'm just trying to figure out if he's going to be good when and if his number is called.

Player questions

Anyone know what the injury and timetable is for Steven Jones return? Online is on fire regardless.

Is cardwell injured? If so what is it. Not debating running back room and who should be playing because we are doing great. If significant he should consider redshirt and hopefully not transfer as he was amazing last season.

I thought Justin flowe played in a few early series and then not seen again. Am I wrong? Is he injured again? Is Jeffrey Bassa outplaying him?
